From a more mundane perspective she was born the only child of a pair of kind -if clueless- parents,  and grew up with a middle class lifestyle.  The dissonance between her mortal life,  and her magical lineage has left her confused and unable to secure the formal training required to join the ranks of the White Council. Strange phenomena kept occuring around her,  and she couldn't seem to get her once trusted laptop or phone to work.  Research afforded her a small understanding of what she was becoming,  and just as her parents were beginning to worry she vanished. She did however make friends,  and a few enemies.  Eventually a mysterious package arrived at the small apartment she'd been staying at,  inside she found the resources she'd need to finish her own training.
