They ingest blood because the virus craves it as yeast would sugar, in return the virus enhances their stem cell repair and cell renewal. However, UV rays hurt the virus and thus its host becomes photophobic. Their blood carries the virus and can infect elves by transfusion of bodily fluids.[/color]

Elves infected by the vampirism virus. Sometimes they do not survive the change. If they do, there is a chance their personalities shift towards animalistic and aggressive. However survivors are stronger than their infectors. Canines fall out to make way for fangs. It is possible for them to breed among themselves.[/color]
