The Berserker’s weapon could be something visceral, poignant, jagged and inextricably connected to blood. Hidden just as the Berserker’s true nature is kept buried beneath the surface, and rather than something glaringly huge or obvious as first impressions might imply more subtle, elegant, obfuscated --, though not in and of itself venomous, the weapon of a poisoner, perhaps even aesthetically snake like. Maybe a deceptively brutal dagger or modified rapier/Chinese Jian, could even go with something of an interlocking chain whip type of thing that with the touch of a button or by some magical trigger can switch between being either a bladed whip or straight blade.
The original idea came from a mix of a few different ones but the dual weapon idea came from Dark Souls 2 where I'd run around dual wielding weapons while using hex magic (not easy to set up as it requires a lot of stats). To be honest it was fun, throwing out a few homing hexes while using the Dragonslayer and Gyrm Axe. Very intimidating at times. The blood aspect was probably thought up because I used to modify them with bleed so after a few hits the opponent was usually in a dire state. Overall, the vibe I would be going for would be one that is less flamboyant from smaller nimble weapons, and something more fearsome and horror filled. Something dark. The only problem is I find old/historic fantasy quite dull. Mostly cause everything always seems fairy tail like with the whole "living the simple life" aspect. Given the right roleplay... maybe (looks to Hansel & Gretle: Witch Hunters or something similar) but I still haven't watched Game of Thrones... nor really have an interest to. I'm a bit more of a sci-fi person, hence why I listed that character here in this thread. :)
