"What!? How did you hear about that!?" Master Roshi shouted, as he jumped back a bit. These kids just kept on surprising him, both with their power, as well as their knowledge. If they weren't careful, they'd end up giving him a heart attack! "Ally told us a while back!" Kiro laughed, thinking he'd be praised for his knowledge on such matters, forgetting they were suppose to be keeping this stuff a secret. "Ally, huh?" Master Roshi angrily grumbled, giving the woman a glare that almost appeared deadly. The old man sighed, as he rubbed the back of his head. "I guess you kids were going to find out eventually." Master Roshi started his story by looking off in the distance, as if there were something out there that would explain everything if the group just turned around. "You see, Shen and I used to train together, we were both the star pupils of the great Master Mutaito. However, we both hated each other! We fought to no end! The only thing that truly brought us together was our master. After Master Mutaito passed away, Shen and I went our separate ways, starting up our own separate schools to train the next generation. After I found out the old crane hermit was bringing his students to the tournament, I decided I would enter you three as well. It's good training for you! The Crane Students could very well be apart of the second-best training regimen, they'll make excellent opponents." Roshi assured them that this was all in the good of their training, which was true, but it was clear to just about anyone that the main reason of the Turtle School entering was to feed the fire between the two schools. Perhaps to prove once and for all that Master Roshi is the superior teacher. "Don't worry, Master Roshi. We've been training hard, and I know we'll make you proud." Kiro assured him. "BEEN training hard? What are you dummies talking about? Your training's not over yet." Master Roshi pulled out a single plane ticket from his jacket pocket. "I only had enough for one ticket." He awkwardly laughed, as he pulled out a capsule from his other pocket, launching it just a ways away, as it transformed into a stylish black car. Master Roshi got in the driver's seat, and buckled himself in. He rolled down the window, as gave them their final instructions. "I'm going to be taking it easy, since I'm not even competing in the tournament." He emphasized on this, hoping to fool them further. "You all, however, need to continue to train hard for the big event. I want you to swim to the World Martial Arts Tournament. And after that, then you can rest." Master Roshi looked out his window to get a good look at the sun. "Better hurry, kids, that's about 7,000 miles you have to go through." Without another word, the turtle hermit drove off, rolling up his window, as he headed for the airport. "7-7,000 miles!? Is he insane!? Aren't you supposed to take it easy right before a big fight?" Kiro complained, trying to find some way out of it all. "What about our new gis!? They'll get wet!" He yelled out for Master Roshi, but the turtle hermit was already gone.
