Sue Many emotions arose after the students’ climbs up the wall. Kalinda in particular worried Sue for she was one of the few that came to comfort her in her time of despair, even if she was unorthodox but adorable. John was another, and Sue refused to hit him with tennis balls after she remembered what he did, and how he came to doing it; he went into a coma for a long time after Sue’s accident. Sue was scared of the giant, but she had to go over and apologize to her sooner or later. “Whatever”, Sue thought, as she walked over to the wall and grabbed a jut and placed her foot in a foothold, and moved herself up. Instead of realizing that her short limbs were placing her in a disadvantage, she thought hard as to what she could do. If anything, she could draw inspiration from Jack and all the other agile superheroes. Seeing a foothold above her to the right, she, with her hand, pivoted and swung herself, having her foot catch said foothold. All the while balls were pelting away at her, she managed to grab hold of more juts and holes for her to stabilize herself. She was halfway there, and she was already feeling some sort of improvement in her abilities. She did not gain new muscle or new talent, but she did learn how to better utilize what she already had. It was one of the few things she was proud of learning in the Academy; how to be useful with a lot of proclaimed utility. Though she would love the help of Jack right now, she felt she did not need it, and that motivated her to keep on going, reaching far and jumping high to the next hold.
