'Don't start analysing it' he reminded himself as he returned to his window perch. He watched the others chat amongst themselves and exchange pleasantries...well, perhaps pleasantries wasn't the ideal word. Lux didn't feel connected to anyone in the room, if anything he couldn't shake the feeling that he'd taken a wrong turn, accidentally stolen the real hero enthusiast's thunder 'Should have said 'stop' analysing it' with a shake of his head Lux turned his attention back to Rohrbach and took another swig of water. 'New? Great...' Just the mention of something new caused a ripple of nervous energy to pass through him, instead of focusing on the screen, he started to peel the label off of the bottle in his hand. Confident, Skills, Basement, simulation room, by the time Rohrbach had finished talking Lux had run out of label to peel, fastening the lid back on the bottle he dropped it into his backpack and followed the others downstairs. 'Either Rohrbach's still unpacking or there are big plans in motion' He thought, moving over to study a few of the boxes as they passed by them. 'Elevators...small spaces' Once he was in the control room, his nerves had kick started his battery. Moving to the most inconspicuous place he could find, Lux rubbed his knuckles against his palm, trying to ignore the orange hue coming off of his skin. Despite his intense dislike of new things, Lux couldn't doubt the genius behind Rohrbach's idea. A safe place to test out their powers, find their limits. 'Cas would be all over this...a chance to figure out what we're going through' Unsurprisingly he didn't hop onto the mettle testing train with the others, especially after Gō renamed it the danger room. 'If the movies are anything to go by...this could get ugly' he folded his arms across his chest and watched on in silence as Rohrbach instructed Ambrose to enter the training room alone. Knowing it wasn't meant to be a group activity and that he could stay back to analyse some of the simulations, instantly eased his anxiety. Which in turn brought his heart rate down and allowed the orange hue to gradually fade away whilst he focused on what was happening in the training room.
