Roman swore as shiver teleported out of the medical bay. He knew exactly where she was going and exactly what she was going to do. He sprinted towards the hospital and arrived seconds after Shiver spoke to Tia over the comlink. He ran into the room, the entire hospital moving several dozen times slower than he was. While Shiver was suspended in his speed-warp, he wrapped his arm around her waist, and sprinted out. 

He left California, running south on the ocean until he reached Mexico, about five minutes later. He set her down in the middle of a Mexican desert, returning to normal speed. He stood a few feet away from her.[color=0076a3] "Shiver, listen to me. Listen to me, as Roman, not as Velocity." 

[/color]"What I did was already to much, and I'm going to suffer the consequences for it." He said. "If you kill him or hurt him more, you'll just make things worse." He looked her pleading in the eye. [color=0076a3]"Shiver, I'm part human and so are you. We might be superhumans but we have to forget the super sometimes and focus on the human. What I did was to defend Enyo, but now anything we do will be seen as hostile, rather than defensive. You know I'm the fastest person alive, but I can't catch you if you teleport now. I can't stop you. Only you can make this decision to be human ands let him live."[/color]
