Enyo felt worn out. She stopped packing and turned to look at Roman. [color=ec008c]"Thank you. He no doubt would have killed me had you not come. Shiver would have killed him outright. And also thank you for stopping Shiver."[/color]

[color=ec008c]"She and I know each other better than anyone else does. Our mothers were best friends. While we were kids Shiver was brought to my mom on the mountain and Wicked left her there for more than two years. Wicked was having trouble dealing with some things and she didn't want to hit Shiver again. I guess she had gotten distracted during training and Shiver had walked in at the wrong time. She had gotten really hurt. So she and I grew up together really close."[/color]

Enyo looked sad. [color=ec008c]"Roman, how can I fight for the humans and not hurt them if they attack me? I'm a goddess of war! I fight with and against Ares! I can take down armies! So how did I let one human nearly kill me?" [/color]Her voice lowered in confusion.[color=ec008c] "It's not even that I liked him. He seemed nice at first but that was only til he hit me. I removed myself from the equation and that didn't even work." [/color]

She was agitated and she said, [color=ec008c]"When I saw him today I felt fear. Do you know why?"[/color] She pulled at her hair as it got caught on something. [color=ec008c]"I was afraid I would lose control and kill him this time. I was afraid of myself and so I let him nearly kill me."[/color]

[color=ec008c]"I know what Shiver told you. She is kind of a big mouth sometimes. I don't want to leave. I just don't know how to not kill humans if they attack me and I can't just let them kill me."[/color] Enyo had been pacing and stopped in front of him. [color=ec008c]"Any suggestions?"[/color] Enyo looked up at him with emotion in her eyes and she was hoping that might have the answer for her and that he might feel the same way about her, at least a little.
