Takumi noted that the coach removed his backup from the field, allowing his tail to build up in Gloria's absense. Apparently the coach felt the need to test him in problem-solving.

Takumi cut the ghoststep and let the closest student come closer, barely three steps away.

His right hand fished out the glock from the holster and snapped high, firing off three rounds in quick succession straight upwards ([i]Сrack! Crack! Crack![/i]) ; then he dropped the gun, catching it by the barrel in his gloved left. Crouching low he used the pistol in his hand as a hook behind the closer student's knee, and jerked sharply to himself (with the intent to topple) while launching his own body in a sideways rolling motion.
