[@Lucius Cypher] I have always thought of the staff you receive from your background as more of a walking stick/poking implement rather than a weapon (quarterstaff). Would make sense for a Half-Orc to have one a bit sturdier one though. We can say it's a quarterstaff. The longsword being called a machete is fine with me.

[@VitaVitaAR] You can remove skill proficiencies from your Languages and Proficiencies tab, as those are marked with the checkboxes above. As for the fluffing of the chain mail... while I don't personally think of it as silly looking, I can see that it could bother someone. You have to realize that a plate-armour on the level of chain mail is some really bad plate though. If it leaves the big arteries on her legs visible though (like in the images) it might well be 2 AC worse. The arms don't appear to have the greatest plating either, so we can work with this I'd say. Not to mention the lack of a helmet :P Sure, have it be inferior plate mail.

Haven't seen any problems with characters thus far. We are still waiting for one of the people from the Interest Check and for VKAllen to show me their character, but I'd say we are making good progress in getting this thing running.
