[@Hekazu]: I kind of wanted to go with something a little more stylistic since it [i]is[/i] fantasy and you can generally get away with that, but at the same time finding something that was actually decent for that, looked good to me, and seemed at least somewhat functional. Having a little exposed skin on an awkward place to hit seemed like an okay tradeoff for having something I thought looked pretty decent.

As for why I don't want chain, it's mostly the chain hood that I don't like. It looks a bit goofy to me no matter what. ^^;

I'll tweak the proficiencies.
