After their ride back to camp, Crim and Leo arrived back at the Goldenblades camp. Crim got off the horse and followed Leo back to the captain's tent. In the corner of her eye she saw Alexander, a wounded Alexander. Seeing a soldier like that wounded  made her fear what had happened at the battle and refrain from asking. In the captain's tent Crim asked to stay for a while and help tend to the wounded.
