Name: Dempsey Robinson
Appearance: Standing at 6 foot 3 and bearing the muscular physique of a heavyweight boxer, Dempsey is imposing to say the least. His hair is a bright white, with flakes of black here or there, a result of the radiation wave. Furthermore, his eyes have been greatly altered by the wave, creating a sort of faux heterochromia. Rather than the eyes being different colours, the pupils are simply both expanded and contracted. He just about always has a smirk on his face, especially when his power activates. 
Age: 23
Power(s): Dempsey's power is a little abstract. When the wave hit all of the radiation was absorbed into his arms and a small bit of his torso, primarily his forearms. This resulted in his arms being near impenetrable and resulting in a massive increase in his strength. Furthermore, his body has started to generate its own sort of radiation, which he can disperse in large or concentrated blasts through his arms. However, these are rather unreliable and travel in waves rather than in something easy to aim like a beam. His durability has extended to his torso, but not to the amount it did to his forearms. Furthermore, he also has an increased reaction time and has a sort of super speed, but only with his arms and upper body.
Personality: Cocky, smug and arrogant, Dempsey is not your average hero. His main objective in a fight is to make his opponent look like a fool, and to have fun with it. Of course, he will primarily try and protect innocents if they are a factor, but his opponents embarrassment is also up there on his priorities list. He is very sure of his abilities, and is quite keen on making jokes.
Bio: Born in Liverpool, England, Dempsey was practically raised to be a boxer. His father, a former small time boxer who went on to become a coach and later to own his own gym, got Dempsey into boxing from a young age. Heck, he even named him after Jack Dempsey. He'd spend his days helping his father at the gym after school, and later got into boxing training. Of course, when he was finally of age he became a professional boxer in many of the smaller circuits. 

He began rising within the boxing world, making a name for himself in the English boxing circuits and later even becoming professional. His father, being the visionary he was, practically forced Dempsey to travel to America and attempt to become famous there. Of course, things did not turn out as planned. He gained a small amount of fame within Chicago, but it never really went past that and soon his fame, and with it his pay began declining. He ended up having to retire from boxing and take up a job as a PE teacher of all things. His now depressing existence continued on until the radiation wave hit. It strengthened him as a boxer in ways he could have never expected and gave him a newly found vigour.

However, before he could fully get back into boxing he was, of course, arrested. He's been in the jail for a few months now, and snapped at the chance to join a team and get out of the place.
