[*][u][b]Personality:[/b][/u] Despite what his looks might entail, he’s actually a pretty nice guy. He’s not very approachable thanks to his appearance but when you do, you learn that you really can’t base someone from their appearances. He’s helpful to the students who are having trouble. He isn’t at all embarrassed that he is teaching Home Ec of all things. He gets along with people who actually has the guts to talk to him. However, when he gets mad, he gets furious. He mostly hates seeing students hurting themselves because of sheer stupidity which either ends up with a verbal or physical punishment. 
He loves partying though and often goes to party clubs to spend his free time when he has it. There has been multiple cases of people dropping down unconscious. It is said that he unknowingly releases his power while partying which causes the other people present to keep on dancing until they literally drop. He is not aware of this at all. He’s also quite a drinker, but that’s understandable considering his pact. He smokes too but he rarely does this within school grounds.
[*][u][b]Skills:[/b][/u] As a Home Ec teacher, he knows his ways around the house. Cooking, carpentry, sewing, those kinds of things he’s skilled at. He also manages to sneak in bartending lessons for the older students just for the heck of it (as long as someone doesn’t get drunk of course). He can fight while drunk but it isn’t any form of formal martial arts.
[*][u][b]Equipment:[/b][/u] Ritual Device: A pact with the God of Wine and Merrymaking, [url=https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/cb/e6/51/cbe65111b86bce1258df7660c9f32ea9.jpg]Dionysus [/url] The guy has a complete array of clothing, usually casual. Just a shirt, pants and shoes. Most of the time, however, he is drunk and happy so Ryu usually needs to keep an eye on him. The device itself is the plating over his left arm. It includes a wooden alcohol flask that Ryu always carries around. It’s filled with wine Dionysus himself gives him. The flask itself can be used as a weapon as it is near indestructible. 
[*][u][b]Abilities:[/b][/u] 
Blessing of Dionysus: His pact with the party god has given him the power to essentially push those around him to their limits and beyond. Something like a ‘power-up’. The more people involved, the more powerful the power-up is. This doesn’t affect Ryu in any way. There is one more thing to be concerned about when it came to powering up others. His ability can essentially make the pain from attacks go away, or in other words numbing it, making the person think that they could go on forever. However, their body recognizes that there’s something wrong and might shut down after too much damage. And then there’s when Ryu revokes the power up, they would feel the full-force of the pain they had received.
 
Drunken Power: For him to get his own power up, he must get himself drunk. And that’s where the Dionysus alcohol (he calls it) comes into play. He drinks from that and gets his power-up. However, his body cannot take more than two flasks of that certain alcohol (power). It will result in his coma, the duration, however, is based on how many extra alcohol he took in. It should be noted that normal drinking doesn’t activate his ability as it only activates when he chooses to.
[*][u][b]Brief Backstory:[/b][/u] Not much is known about Ryu’s past as he denies to talk about it. Only the headmaster and a handful of teachers know at least some parts about it. Everyone at least knows that it’s shady but no one is sure if he’s born in a yakuza, or the son of a drug dealer or other things like that. They just know that when Ryu came into possession of the ritual device, he enrolled in Otsuki, graduated, went to college then went back to Otsuki to teach. No one knows the real reason why though. It is said that his name might not be real after all.

Note: He is prevented from going to any tournaments because of his abilities that could help his side and it would be considered cheating. That’s why he only watches from the Academy itself. However, Otsuki Academy allows him to watch and mediate mock battles.
