How did the walkers know they were in there? Frustrated, Niesha glanced about, trying to work out how many walkers there were, but it was impossible to tell and she wasn about to go round the church to see. What they needed was to get out of there, but how did they know the walkers would find them? A distraction seemed wise, but they had nothing. Taking a few seconds, Niesha scanned everything around them. Her eyes saw the women on horseback, but she didn't trust that, not after yesterday. Pushing that to the back of her mind, she thought on what they could do. She followed after Sophie, knowing that they had to be careful, and that any sound could trigger the walkers to them. She wondered, briefly, if they should warn the riders, but it was clear they were merely watching her and Sophie. She fought with herself, with her own conscience, before cursing lightly under her breath. Although by now it would be evident that they were running from walkers, it might not be clear how many there could be to the riders. If the horses were forced to run, they would attract more walkers with their hooves pounding. So she changed her course slightly, heading towards the horse riders, signaling to Sophie that she had changed course. Even if the women were aware, more hands in a walker battle were better then less. Could mean the difference between life and death. She approached slowly towards the horses, not wanting to spook them or their riders. but she suddenly stopped and cursed again. More walkers behind the riders, and their cart. Without any indication to what she was going to do, Niesha pulled her pack around, and quickly located the box of matches she had. She swung her pack back around, and darted off towards the closest house. It was a simple matter to jimmy the door open, Thrilled that there were drapes nearby, she lit a match, and flicked the match at them. It would catch it it wouldn't. Darting back to Sophie, she knew the walkers would be attracted to the flames, knew that they only had a short time to get out of there. Looking to the riders, she hoped they had the sense to get out of there. Clearly they had a place to go, but right then was not the time to ask them about it. They would either take them with them, or not. Either way, Niesha assumed it was just Sophie and herself. "come on, the house will burn itself out if it catches, the walkers will be attracted to it, we have a few moments. Let's get out of here. Hopefully they'll get out of here too, and anyone else around."
