Personality: At first glance Aria comes across as quite and a woman of few words. Who would rather sit and draw then actually talk to someone. However this is little more persona as Aria struggles dealing with people, have a lot of trouble reading body language. However people can easily avoid this persona by talking about something Aria finds interesting. This often show Aria true colours of being quite a chatter box when its something that interests her. Otherwise one must simply keep interacting with her and she come out of her shell. Aria is somewhat detached emotionally and has trouble expressing what she is feeling, resulting having next to no facial expressions or easy to ready social ques the might indicate her state of mind. Aria is aware of this so openly tells people if they making her feel in particular way and if asked will gladly state how she's feeling ... most of the time. Not that Aria would ever admit it but sometimes she just doesn't know how she's feeling. So goes with generic I'm okay repose as in the past it had people leave her alone. Aria is quite a driven and at times can be very stubborn, normally when she made her mind up on something or as been given a task. Hating to leave tasks she been given unfinished willing to go pretty long lengths to complete them. More so when that task involves killing Imps, Aria having grown to dislike them a lot. When dealing with people Aria is normally quite friendly who is difficult to anger.
Born and raised in the Gallian city of Anthold, along with her two young sisters and older brother. Growing up Aria and her sibling didn't see a lot of her parents, both of them dock workers doing long hours to provide for their children. Leaving the Hexner children to entertain themselves, this lead to being the siblings being very close as children. The siblings often seen playing together and some of the time pulling pranks on the other kids. Aria's parents did always try to make sometime for their children not that it was always possible. As the children entered school Aria quickly found liked draw and paint spending a lot of her free time trying to draw or paint the ship at the docks and her siblings. Noticing this Aria's parents did what they could to support this, getting their oldest daughter high quality art supplies for her birthday. It was at this point Aria began to grow a little distant from her siblings as her like of painting and drawing quickly grew into a hobby. However her siblings always made sure to drag out of her world to play with them. As Aria hit high school her like became a love and that love quickly evolved into a passion, Aria spending a good part of her free time drawing different parts of Anthold. Aria finding she liked to draw the ship in the dock as they where being unloaded. Aria painting many of her drawings, many of them hanging in her room and around the house. When Aria was moving into to her final year of High school she had decided she would became an artist, capturing the beauty of things on canvas for the world to see. With her mind made up nothing, Aria was hell bent to see her goal become reality. Working tirelessly to improve her skills as an artist and as she finished her schooling applied to Yuell university. Managing to get accepted into the university as an arts students, Aria moved out of her parents home not long after graduating high school. Starting her schooling in the arts, it took a long time for her to adapt being away from her family but with time she grew used to it. Even if she missed being home Aria enjoyed learning on how to be an artist When the war was declared and the empire invaded Aria was one of the first to get drafted. Somehow ending up getting engineering training, much to her disdain. Aria quickly finding out she hated learning how to do basic repairs on tanks and other battlefield equipment, along side learning how to disarm mines. Although learning how to treat common battlefield injures along with how to use Ragnaid to be interesting. Once having received her training Aria was placed in the 7th regiments 9th company. It was here Aria learned what it was like to fight and the horrors of war. At first the young woman being so afraid she could barely muster the courage to raise her rifle at another human being, but with time and help of her squad-mates she learned how to deal with it. As time passed Aria became a passable solider and made several friends in her company. This all changed when he 9th company was deployed on a mission where the company was ambushed by imperials and was all but wiped out. The mission ended in failure as 9th retreated, lacking the man power to continue on. Once eventually making it back to base, the 9th now all but depleted in manpower was dissolved and member still fit for combat where sent into other companies. Aria being one of these members.

It was quite in the in the room as Aria sat slumped over her desk a cigarette loosely sat in between her lips. "Hmmmm ... what to do?" Aria thought to herself as she stared at the half finished drawing in front of her. Feeling a little unsure how she could try to finish it, but knew she had to and soon. Aware that it was due first thing in the morning and her fossil of a teacher would be unhappy if it was late. With a sigh Aria sat up. Taking a long drag of her cigarette. Looking up at the roof as she blew the smoke back out. This assignment was proving to quite the challenge for Aria, not feeling an inspiration for the small photo the teacher had given her. Picking up you the picture in question Aria stared at it, drinking in every detail her eyes could find. "I don't get it. How is a picture of a man sitting in a tree meant to be inspiring? I get I gotta use this picture, as my muse but it so dull. Why couldn't he given me a ship or something? I could draw and paint those for days." Aria mussed to herself thinking of the drawings she did as child of the trade ships she saw in the docks. "Maybe ... no ...maybe ... maybe I need a break. Go out for an hour or two. Maybe Antony would like get a something to eat. the young woman thought, taking another drag of her cigarette. With a loud yawn. Aria stretched, hearing several joints crack loudly. Giving an almost content sigh. She got up, all the while looking at her half done drawing. "Looks like I'll be pulling another all nighter. Maybe ... hopefully not. Anyway a break will do me good." Aria said to herself as she walked across the room to where her winter coat was hung neatly on the door.
