Well I'd rather avoid conflict as well. Spy's are no fun when they get hung by their ankles from the get go. It'd be insulting to Axon and boring for Lorelai once all the screaming stopped and she had to clean up the mess.

Lorelai could, but it wouldn't have the same gravitas if she introduces the man and immediately breaks his jaw before Eleanor gets a chance to either give her the order to, or try and dismiss Lorelai only for the maid to see the glint in Jack's belt and breaks his jaw regardless.
