Elena eyed the man for a moment after his request, her gaze falling to the companion that lurked behind his superior. Surely he had some experiences to share as well, but with the state Alessandro was in, Elena wasn't in the position for making requests of her own without fulfilling others first. "Very well," She turned to Alessandro, who was still supporting himself against the wall behind Elena. "Tell them." Alessandro brought his gaze up from the ground and remained silent for a few moments more, mulling over the words to explain something that he himself did not fully understand. He could still feel the last burning twinge in his gut, pulling him towards the rubble where the Piece may possibly be found if one was determined enough. "What you desire, I am not sure there are words for," Alessandro finally spoke. "That object holds a great power, one that captivated me and held me like the Pope holds the masses." His lip twitched at the reminiscing of the Apple's hold over him just mere moments before this one. "There is a pull it placed within me, I would have done anything to obtain the Apple and do as it wished me to do... It was as if the thing was as alive as you and I, communicating to me silently but intently." Alessandro shook his head. "I would have died in there had it not been for the sound mind of mi amica here, as I'm sure your companion would have met the same fate without you to pull him from the influence of the artifact." With that, Alessandro pressed his lips together in a thin line and he let his shoulders relax, as if talking about the Piece's influence let some weight off of his shoulders. Elena looked from Alessandro to the Templar, who she noticed was dripping with attention to Alessandro's words. No wonder it had been so hard to force Alessandro from the shambling chamber, if what he spoke was true. Elena worried that this was information that perhaps he should have misspoke to the Templars, but this knowledge may be harmless without the artifact itself. "I feel we have held up our end of the bargain," Elena spoke up again. "As intrigued as I am about your companion's experiences, I can assume they be similar. Now, if we are done here, I need to get my friend to the sanitario before our armistice is ended. We may only tolerate each other for so long, after all."
