[indent]Johnny was born in Australia originally, but quickly moved to Louisana with his parents shortly after being born. His father was Australian and his mother America, granting him dual citizenship within these countries.

Much of his life up until he discovered his powers was filled with two closely related things. Shooting and cowboy movies. His father adored the greats such as John Wayne and Clint Eastwood, and would often watch the films with Johnny whenever they could. His mother, however, was more inclined in teaching him how to fire a gun, this mix of interests resulted in the cowboy-esque persona that Johnny bases his powers around.

When his powers manifested it was a disaster. He couldn't control his speed, he kept flying into walls after the first step and it was blindingly obvious that he was a mutant. His parents, being the progressives they were, did not look down on him for his mutations, and instead sought to help him control it.

Things were going well until a local anti-mutant rally swept through the town. Someone caught Johnny using his power to get home quicker, and what ensued was the worst night of Johnny's young life. His parents struggled to keep the angry mob from getting to Johnny, which resulted in their brutal murder at the hands of an unknown gunman. 

Alone and afraid, Johnny ran as fast and as far as he could. He passed through many towns along his journey, before finally encountering another mutant in Washington. The mutant helped him get to Xavier, who honed his power and managed to help him grow into the man he is today.[/indent]

[color=ed1c24][b][u] Appearance:[/u][/b][/color]
[indent]Johnny stands at 5 foot 11 and has a fit, borderline muscular physique. His hair is kept partially long, but is styled so that it falls no lower than his neck. His moustache goatee combo is rather scruffy and matches the dark brown hue of his hair and eyes. He can often be seen wearing a leather jacket, and bears a double shoulder holster on missions.[/indent]

[indent]Johnny's power is speed. Everything he does he can do faster than anyone else. Running, punching, kicking, you name it and he can do it quickly. Furthermore this power extends to his reflexes, which have been enhanced to the point where he can draw and fire a revolver as accurate as he would if he was aiming a sniper rifle. Speaking of guns, these are a staple in his powerset, as he uses them almost always when fighting villains.[/indent]

Johnny's life has made him cold and bitter to an extent. He finds it hard to trust people and mostly assumes that anyone he meets will be out of his life sooner rather than later. Once you gain his trust however, you will begin to notice the kindness and warmth that he bears towards mostly everyone who doesn't intend to do him harm. He's really a big softie wearing the skin of a rough tough cowboy.
