"My name is Gin master Roshi, I must say that your students were very impressive in the preliminary rounds. With some cool costumes you all could make excellent heroes like me"
"They better be impressive!" He angrily exclaimed, as he climbed off the table, and back into his own seat. He acted as if nothing had happened. "They were trained by the greatest, after all." He stroked his ego, as he started to chuckle. "Heroes are people who protect the little guys, you don't need to have a flashy costume to do that." Master Roshi explained, shaking his head. 'Besides, the ladies don't go for guys with capes. Even I know that!' The old man revealed his true reasoning within his head, as he slowly nodded in agreement with himself. Kiro scooted his chair over a bit to give room for Gin, as Shin began to explain his story.
"But one day a man using techniques from the Crane hermit school challenged him, It was a close battle and my Master looked like he won he had the man begging on his knees but as soon as my master showed mercy he was killed," Shin said as he clenched his hand while looking down revisiting the harsh memories. "I didn't even get see his face," Shin said as anger began to be herd in his tone. "So i came here to find the man who murdered him!" Shin yelled but began to cool down as he saw the waitress coming back with the food. "I'll tell you what happens next, but for now i'm staving!" Shin yelled as he grabbed his chopped sticks and began eating through multiple plates of food at once.
"Wait, boy!" Master Roshi exclaimed, as the young boy had caught the master's attention once the Crane School had been mentioned. "You must have heard that Shen and his gang were going to compete in the tournament, but I assure you, you won't find the man you're looking for here." Roshi assured Shin, as he took a deep breath before beginning to explain. "Alright, let's dig in!" Kiro exclaimed once the waitress had brought the numerous bowls and plates out for them all. He immediately began to tear into a bowl of rice, quickly chowing things down, almost seemingly racing Shin. "Listen to me, you little brats!" Roshi angrily shouted at them, as he slammed his fists down on the table. "I have heard rumors of Shen, the instructor of the Crane School, having a younger brother," he started again once things had calmed down a bit. "trained in the way of the Crane School, the brother grew up to become a dangerous mercenary. Charging ten billion zeni, per kill, for his expert services. I am certain this is the man you are searching for. Your master must have been quite the fighter, with quite the enemies, for someone to hire such a man to kill him." Master Roshi continued, sounding quite serious, as he took a sip of the water the waitress had gave him. Since he wasn't a fighter (or so they thought), he couldn't really get anything else without paying for it. "I'm sorry for your loss, son, but revenge is not the answer. Going up against someone like that man will only get you killed." He explained to the boy. "How is that suppose to honor his memory!?" He exclaimed, standing up from his chair quite abruptly, as Shin's story hit close to home for Master Roshi. An evil man had also taken away his own master.
