[@Chaotic Chao] Maybe instead of using thrown objects, you just need a physical connection to do that you can toss an object a playing card or whatever so that touch extends to your enemy. Then your powers could lock on and you could toss bolts from wherever you are as long as you don't lose sight of them for too long.
