Glint of a Barrel sounds like my kind of story. The male character actually reminds me a lot of a character I created some years ago, so I'll be able to pick him right back up. Also this confuses me: Two people are not supposed to speak in the same paragraph. I can't say this enough.
Hello. If you'd like to PM me and we can discuss the RP, please do. As for what confuses you, basically, I get a lot of partners who end up writing like this;
"Hey, Jason!" Said Sara as Jason turned around to see her. "Oh, hey, Sarah." He responded. "How are you?" She asked, giving him an awkward hug. "Oh, I'm just great." He hugged back. "How is your family?" Where it's all one giant paragraph with no speech separation. In proper modern writing, it should look like this; "Hey, Jason!" Said Sara as Jason turned around to see her. "Oh, hey, Sarah." He responded. "How are you?" She asked, giving him an awkward hug. "Oh, I'm just great." He hugged back. "How is your family?" <-- More so, without separation, we wouldn't know who said this... Could be Sara. Could be Jason. By separating it from Jason's last response, we know it's Sara. On that same note, I can't ever write 'Sara' one way. I always add a h sooner or later.
