Nickname: Mercy - Butchering the French word for "thank you", this became her nickname after several failed attempts to teach her squadmates the proper pronounciation. The compromise at present is that she promised not to leave any instruments inside her teammates in exchange for them just using English with her.

Psychological Analysis: 

Arryn demonstrates a jarring focus on the battlefield, whether for combat or treatment of casualties. Almost nothing gets to her once her mind is set on the task. Reports have her continuing to suture wounds with surgical precision even with mortar shells landing just several feet away on the opposite side of cover. She is meticulous, ensuring that every wound is properly prioritized and taken care of in record time.

This extends to her personal life as well. Arryn is extremely neat and organized with everything, citing her need to be able to find her medical supplies and such in an emergency. The habit simply extended to other things like personal effects, her own bunk and footlocker.

Her selflessness is both her main strength and weakness. She will forgo food and sleep to tend to her allies and civilians alike, even going so far as to put herself in the line of fire to save fallen troops in combat. While this has saved countless UEE soldiers' lives, it has also cost several drones to enemy fire. She is ultimately, still a soldier, and one that doesn't take care of herself very well when others are involved.

While normally gentle and kind-hearted with a doctor's bedside manner, Arryn also possesses a sharp tongue she will not hesitate to use if she sees someone she cares about acting stupidly, usually in a way that threatens to injure them or exacerbate existing ones. Witty and charming, she's a breath of fresh air and much needed relief in the field for her team, though it doesn't help that it comes with a generous dose of snark at their expense from time to time. Ask any of them, however, and they will all unanimously say she's like the sister figure of the group and they would not have anyone else at their back in a fight.

Military Record:

Arryn first started out as a civilian, taking over her family's clinic at age 18, helping to treat the sick in poorer districts on the fringe of UEE territory. It was there she picked up most of her medical experience and practice, working mostly with children. Though her parents had a successful medical practice elsewhere in more profitable sectors of UEE space, it wasn't easy operating with bare bones logistics since the outskirts were always a hassle to supply. It didn't help that her professionalism and warm bedside manner earned her a reputation and sent many worried parents and prospective patients her way.

A Coalition attack on the planet at age 22, however, destroyed her clinic. It was never ascertained whether or not the clinic was intentionally targeted, but it didn't matter to Arryn either way. She was pulled out of the rubble mostly unscathed but her patients were not so lucky. Watching the UEE soldiers pull out one dead child after another was too heart wrenching for her and only stoked her rage. This was the incident that drove her to enlist with the military.

Throughout basic training, Arryn was a force to be reckoned with. She excelled in all fitness tests, range and field proficiencies, and had a drive that concerned her superiors. Though she never conducted herself less than professionally, there was always a lingering suspicion that once on the front lines, she would go too far when engaging Coalition forces.

Those fears were put to rest, however, when after a particularly fierce battle, she was seen giving aid to stranded Coalition soldiers as well. In fact, her act of compassion incentivised a certain mutual respect between the two opposing forces in the area, and Coalition medics repaid the favour by tending to fallen UEE soldiers as well. Though her decision was received somewhat less positively among UEE commanders, her peers recognized how seriously she took the Hippocratic Oath when it came to treating wounds.
 
Equipment:
Weapons - ACS Battle Rifle

BASTION - Short for Battlefield Surgical Station, Bastion is a combat drone that serves to provide cover and supporting fire for Arryn while she tends casualties. Bastion is deployed in two parts - an overhead drone that serves as eyes and ears to survey the terrain and ensure there are no explosives, hostiles or unstable structures in the vicinity as she makes the way to the casualty. The second part is the main body on the ground that moves with her, deploying a ballistic shield and energy field to stop small arms fire and shrapnel while she does her work.

Relaying the information to her team, Arryn also serves as a scout of sorts, relaying positions of incoming enemies using the aerial drone.
