Yeah, that was what I was thinking, when I heard the argument.

[@Vocab] you have to understand how this looks, and that I have been waiting for quite a while. I don't intend to offend you, but I had to do something, so my character wasn't stuck, but also make it believable, how she was allowed to simply leave the conversation without a fight.
You can of course take it up with the GM, but read the rules on the first page before you do.
