[indent]Somewhat short for his age, and with a thin, wiry build, Luca is not an imposing figure. His features are soft and delicate, giving him a childlike, almost feminine visage. His most outstanding feature would be his eyes, which shimmer with the depth of his intellect, and his blue-green gaze is more piercing than one would expect from someone that looks so young and innocent. Luca's hair is a pale, platinum blonde, almost white, and hangs in a loose shag down to his shoulders. He typically wears baggy clothes such as hoodies and jogging pants, in an effort to conceal his implants. Metal ports just out from his skin on numerous points on his body, and obvious, faintly luminescent wires run underneath his skin like a second circulatory system.[/indent]
[b][PERSONALITY][/b]
[indent]Luca is defined primarily by his powerful intellect. He is generally cool and calculating by nature, and makes his choices almost purely through logic and information available to him. His passion for learning drives him to seek out knowledge and understanding, and he is an inherently curious person. His relatively isolated upbringing has left him without many social graces, and he has a variety of strange idiosyncrasies. Despite his aloof demeanor, he longs to have friends his own age and for others to understand him. His sensitivity about his appearance is due in part to this, as he finds his visible cybernetic implants to be embarrassing for others to see.[/indent]
[b][BACKSTORY][/b]
[indent]Luca was born to a married pair of scientists, both members of a team avidly researching the science behind Quirks. They extensively investigated the genetic and physiological causes and effects of Quirks, hoping to gain a closer understanding of why they manifested and how they functioned. When Luca's quirk manifested at age six, his parents were overjoyed both that their son had such an ability that they had spent their lives researching, and because they would have a source of research material so close at hand. However, this joy was short-lived as it quickly became apparent that Luca's Quirk was far more powerful than he was able to control. His young, volatile mind allowed his powers to go berserk, and he frequently caused destruction on a scale that a child should not have been capable of.

Panicked for both the safety of their child and of others, Luca's parents desperately searched for a solution to the problem their son's Quirk caused. If they did not act quickly, a pattern would surely be seen by some Hero or another, and their son could possibly be classified as a villain. After desperate research and experimentation, Luca received a series of cybernetic implants in his nervous system that served as "power sinks" for his Quirk. They essentially diverted the majority of his power harmlessly, bringing his overall level of power very low, and neutering his destructive capability.

While he was no longer a threat to others, Luca's parents still did not feel right allowing him around other children. He was raised in their laboratory, among their colleague scientists. Luca was home-schooled, educated in many aspects of science and engineering. He proved to have an extremely advanced intellect, possibly an extension of his Quirk, and soaked up knowledge at an incredible rate. In time, he was conducting research of his own alongside his parents. Great amount of time was spent in meditation, learning to control his emotions and cultivate what little power he could muster despite his cybernetic limiter. Most of Luca's youth was spent in almost complete isolation, barely leaving the confines of his parents' laboratory. He often yearned to experience the outside world, but shared his parents' concern that his powers could accidentally hurt others.

When Luca turned 14, however, he developed an avid interest in Heroes. He saw the opportunity to be a Hero as a means of making up for the destruction he wrought as a small child, and a way to see the world and make friends. With his parents help, he developed the Psychokinetic Stabilizer Integrator (Experimental), or [url=http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/galaxysaga/images/1/1f/Psychic_Armor.png/revision/latest?cb=20130207210451]PSI-X[/url] for short. This specialized suit connected to his psychic limiter to focus his powers into reasonably powerful abilities, while still maintaining control over them, in addition to such features as locking grapple-digits and light armor protection. While he is green as grass as far as battle is concerned, Luca is ready to return to the world to make a difference.[/indent]
[b][QUIRK][/b]
[indent][b]Hyper Psychic[/b] - Luca possesses terrifyingly powerful psychokinetic abilities. His raw power is overwhelming, but his control over it is tied to his emotions. His powers have so far manifested as simple telekinesis, but have the potential to be focused into more specialized forms. Luca's power is normally restrained by a cybernetic limiter installed into his nervous system, but by wearing the PSI-X armor system, he can tap into his latent strength in a focused and controlled form.[/indent]
[b][SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES][/b]
[indent][b]Natural Genius[/b] - Luca is extremely intelligent, possibly as a side-effect of his Quirk. He learns new information at an amazing rate, and can process and retain this information like a supercomputer. Full of knowledge regarding biology and advanced cybernetic engineering, as well as a basic understanding of most forms of science, engineering and mathematics, Luca can recall advanced information and perform complex calculations even in the heat of battle.[/indent]
[indent][b]Mind Over Matter[/b] - Luca is a telekinetic first and foremost. While outside of PSI-X, his power is very weak, with a range limited to about the size of a room, and able to exert less force than his physical body. However, his control is very precise, as he has practiced his fine control by working with electronics. While in PSI-X, Luca can exert a crushing force strong enough to immobilize a fully-grown man, or unleash a powerful telekinetic blast. His control and range remains approximately the same.[/indent]
[indent][b]PSI Boosters[/b] - Another feature of PSI-X, Luca's telekinesis can be directed through the suit's thrusters to provide him with a great boost of momentum in nearly any direction. This can be powerful enough to propel him a hundred feet in the air in a matter of seconds. He cannot use the boosters to maintain sustained flight, but they are easily used to provide him this increased speed and power. [/indent]
[b][LIMITS][/b]
[indent][b]Psychic Overload[/b] - Luca's control over his powers is flimsy at best. With the barest emotional fluctuation, his abilities fly wildly out of control, and are capable of causing a great deal of destruction. To counteract this, he has been implanted with a psychic limiter, which brings his overall power level very low. Outside of his PSI-X suit, the limiter makes Luca effectively harmless, which makes him almost totally reliant on PSI-X to be competent in battle. If desperate, Luca can make a deliberate effort to overload his limiter and release his full power, but to do so would cause a great deal of harm to his nervous system, and would undoubtedly cause massive collateral damage.[/indent]
