The Avatar Project is nearing completion: the Commander is racing against the clock to make contact with new global regions, decimate alien strongholds, facilities, and blacksites, while keeping his XCOM operatives alive and safe. This is just a simple little... experiment? I've heard other people doing it, so. Here's what you do: Give me a character. Name, gender, general appearance, and attitude, and I'll make a character in my XCOM 2 game to fit it. Then, I take them out on missions and report to you, whoever made that character, what class they became, general performance, etc. In story form, of course. Here's a short storyline of the XCOM series: 2015: Alien invasion. XCOM is designated to be the counter force to the aliens 2016: XCOM fails, and is destroyed; the aliens take over 2020: Human population subdued from active rebellion 2025: Human population calmed and generally subdued 2026: ADVENT created to be the common peacekeepers; troopers and the like. 2027: Human scientists and engineers are recruited to work on alien technologies 2035: Various rebels- soldiers, survivors of the former XCOM, scientists, engineers- gather again to reform XCOM and fight back So, here's a little sheet: Name: Nickname: Gender: Backstory: (Optional- put date of birth and such in here. Current date is 2035) General appearance: (Sharper face, scarred, tattooed, etc.) Attitude: (By the book, hard luck, intense, happy-go-lucky, twitchy) Class: (Ranger is CQC, Grenadier is heavy weapons, Sharpshooter is ranged combat, Specialist is support and medium range) Subclass: (Ranger: Assault or Scout. Grenadier: Demolitions Expert or Gunner. Sharpshooter: Sniper or Gunslinger. Specialist: Battle Medic or Combat Hacker) Other: Anything else you'd like to add. Accepted/Approved Characters:
If you're on PC you can actually import characters via the Creator menu thing which totally escapes my memory. I actually made one to be imported.
