[@KahleenCuthald][@SomewhatAverage][@XAnthProper] A small bell chimed as Callum walked through the door to Madame Malkin's. The air was a little musty, and dust collected on Cal's sweatshirt as he walked theough the shop. But even though it was a little dim lit and musty, he had to admit, it had an amazing display of robes. Cal walked over to one with a golden tag on it. It looked like a plain ballack robe, but he read the tag and it said, Handcrafted for Hogwarts Students - Robe's trim changes color based on House. Cal looked to the picture next to him and saw a boy in a plain black robe get sorted into Ravenclaw. The inside hood of the robe and the white trim on the end of the sleeves turned a deep blue. Callum smiled for once. One of these wouldn't be bad for the Sorting Ceremony... He thought. He saw a few other kids there, obviously first years, and another, a taller boy in a green sweater. He strutted around the room, took a whiff of the air, and left, his shoulder brushing Againts Cal's. Already he knew that boy wouldn't be one to make friends with. Cal walked along the rows of robes until he found another with a gold tag and a picture next to it. It was a silverish robe, that sparkled in the dim lighting the shop had. The tag read, Auror Approved! Protects from Jinxes, Hexes, and most minor Curses. The picture showed someone whipping the side of the robe up to their face, absorbing an oncoming spell. Cal walked over to the group of other first years who were talking. "This is insane, isn't it? All these wizards and all this magic in just one street. It really puts everything into perspective, don't you think so?" "Yeah, it does. Even if your from the Wizarding world it is kind of amazing. Sorry for not introducing myself. My name is Callum Elmridge, but you can just call me Cal." He put his hand out to shake the other boy's, hoping no one would notice his last name. Cal's family was popular among the Wizarding world, and by some, including him, disliked.
