Misha slid into a sitting position and sighed. She looked into the flickering outline of the fire instead of meeting Destin's eyes. "I.... I care about you, too. Lots." She bit her lip. "Things are bad right now, though, and I'm bad at being a good friend." With a huff, she moved the hair from her face and looked at him. "So you're better off away from me." She lowered her voice. "After we get outta here, of course."
