[@Jinxer] I think England is a perfect setting. In fact, if you want a more accurate setting where an actual civil war was there, the War of the Roses is a perfect setting I think. 

As for questions, I am assuming you want reasonably realistic (bar the special part of how you're a guardian that is basically a god-soldier ish person) characters. So how do you expect us to set up our characters precisely?
