[@Lucidnonsense] Wow, well, Ok. There's not actually much mention of the lore at all, but neither is there anything that goes against the lore so... I guess it's accepted? Haha, I'm really curious to see how this plays out honestly, I'm looking forwards to seeing this character in action. One thing though, is there any way the other PCs or NPCs can see Emissary?
There are a few ways other PCs or NPCs might see it. 1. Magical senses, People who use magic likely have some ability to sense magic, basically a D&D style detect magic spell would reveal the Wraith to the caster and those with high control over the magic they use can use magic to sense it without a spell, they dont "see" it but they do know where it is and its general shape. Most Undead I imagine have some amount of this. 2.Darklight: just as etheric matter can state change to interact with both matter and etheric matter, so can light, spells exist that shift light into darklight. this light DOES reflect off of etheric matter just as it does with regular matter so when a darklight spell is cast the ether becomes visible, the ether is a little foggy however so it takes a trained eye to seperate the wraith from the mist. Darklight I imagine is a common spell as it allows mages to see magic more clearly. Perhaps some of the more corrupted areas created by the lich emmit some amount of darklight this would reveal wraiths and create a nice fog effect appropriate for such areas.
