[@Fionraella] Brick noticed Destin's apparent mild indignation, and gave zero shits at all. He leaned down and tilted Destin's head upwards towards the sky as he examined the kid's eyes. He moved his hand to block the light coming down on Destin's face, then moved his hand back away. "...Normal eye dilation. Good." A single sharp tap just under the kneecap followed. Nothing wrong there, either. "And your reflexes are normal too. Also good. No immediately noticeable damage to the sympathetic nervous system. Now, if you could do a few jumping jacks for me and tell me if the headache comes back or worsens, that'd be great. Just trying to get a feel for whether that headache you mentioned was from exhaustion or from something you'd need to get to a real clinic for." Brick sat down on the bench and eyed Destin. "Pardon my caution. I saw plenty of injuries back when I was in the SCA. Beating eachother with vaguely weapon-shaped sticks'll do a body plenty of harm, even if you're wearing heavy armor. While I might not know anything of healing yet, I do know what brain damage looks like, and I'd say that about a third of the people who get concussed or overheated didn't want to get checked out and passed out on their way back to their tent. Some of those morons were even doctors."
Destin grumbles slightly at the mini exam. He felt silly. He hadn't been to a real doctor and years, and this reminded him. He hated being prodded. He much preferred to be the one doing the prodding. "No, I get it. Plus I'm a little kid right? Everyone's gotta look out for little old me!" He says bitterly, crossing his arms. He then shrugs slightly. "Some people are idiots and sometimes you have to realize that they're scared. Scared to admit anything is wrong with them. But I'm not scared. I'd never put my own life at risk. Whether or not they were doctors doesn't matter. Just says they care less about future patients' health. They definitely should not be doctors." He says firmly, running a hand over his head. "My headache is probably cause I drowned. Technically I guess. But I'm okay now."
