[/quote] Jett felt frustration welling up inside of him at her stubbornness. He ignored her initial comment, and then he reached into his pocket and located him switchblade. He turned and looked down into her icy eyes and placed the switchblade in her open hand without looking at it. "Be careful with it," he said with hostility. He paused for a moment, and then continued as he left it in her hand and pulled his own hand away. His pale blue eyes were deep with thought. "It's been through a lot, and honestly, I've treated it pretty terribly. I broke it a few times, and even lost it altogether once, but it still means a lot to me." Suddenly, he snapped back and his eyes hardened over. He took a step back from her and nodded once more, agreeing to her demands.
