Thursday March 21st, 2016 Hal followed everyone aboard the strange ship, and ignored what everyone else had to say, as he instead focused on trying to find buttons to push. A weird spaceship has to have fun buttons to push, right? He was so thoroughly engrossed in finding said buttons, he failed to notice the extending apparatus above him, and was caught completely off-guard when it switched on. The last thing he could remember before blacking out was a single thought. Well, shit. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Saturday March 23rd, 2016 Hal woke up Saturday morning to the sound of his alarm. His arm felt heavy as he reached to shut it off- and his eyes snapped open at the sound of crunching wood. He stared in shock, and not quite horror, as he stared down at his hand, encased in a heavy, golden gauntlet. Where the hell had this come from? After a few seconds, he could place its familiarity; he'd drawn a gauntlet just like it before he left... Wait just a second. The last thing he remembered was the inside of that strange sky-machine. How in the world was he in his bed? Hal got up, and changed into some fresh clothes. He glanced at his phone as he went downstairs; "Saturday. It's Saturday. How is it Saturday? I must've passed out for longer than I thought." He went in search of his father, hoping maybe he could shed some light on things. He threw on a sweatshirt, pulling the sleeve up over the gauntlet. He slowly opened the door to his father's "office", finding him passed out over his newest piece. That figures, Hal thought. All right, Plan B. That directory had to be around here somewhere... Hal starting quietly rifling through his father's drawer, raising the school directory triumphantly. He went through it, looking for familiar names. Finally, he found one. "Richard Calhoun. He's the one Largent beat up, right?" He copied down the address, and set out. It wasn't too far away. The gauntlet was starting to become very annoying, and slightly worrying. If strange things started happening to him, then surely the others would be affected too...
