Basic Information
Name:
Errol MacReid
Nickname/Alias/Etc:
Glasgow-The callsign he used when leaking documents
Gender:
Male
Age:
27
Height:
5’ 11”
Weight:
155 Lbs
Home District:
Greencrest Heights

Appearance
Hair Color:
Dark Brown
Eye Color:
Muddy Green
Ethnicity:
Scottish
Physical Appearance:
Errol has got sharp features that match his demeanour. His face is almost “V” shaped, and his nose looks as though it was broken and never quite healed. To his unending chagrin, he’s got semi-prominent freckles. A permanent stubble and perpetually messy medium-length hair give him a haggard look. His eyes are just a wee bit too big for his face, making him look constantly surprised. A thin, bemused smile almost never leaves his face. While no one could call him conventionally attractive, his face is, at the very least, interesting. “Lanky” is a word that’s often thrown about when speaking of Errol, and for good reason. Despite being of slightly above average height, MacReid has never been a very imposing figure. He’s borderline underweight. While he certainly isn’t muscular, he’s in fairly decent shape. Errol, in his physical appearance, is all hard edges and sharp lines.
Attire:
Errol, for whatever reason, likes to dress formally. Button-up shirts and slacks are the norm. He prefers, weather permitting, to wear long pea-coats at every opportunity.

Personality
Innate & Outward Personality:
Errol is a bit of an ass. He’s sarcastic, and can’t seem to go a full day without angering someone. He’s crude, and he’s got a dark sense of humor. While he doesn’t intend to, he does often come across as pretentious. Depending on who you ask, Errol is either confident or egotistical. Luckily for MacReid, he does have some redeeming qualities. He’s inquisitive, and has a deep-seated desire to know everything about anything. He’s persistent (Though, admittedly, most would just call him stubborn.). Interestingly enough, he trusts with the ease of someone hopelessly naive, though, naive is not usually a word used in conversations about Errol MacReid. He gets bored easily and craves new experiences, giving him a restless quality. Most of all, Errol feels lonely, and has for awhile. While he’s a generally sympathetic person, he’s too much of an asshole on the exterior to make any friends. This has led to him internalizing most of his feelings and left him unskilled at normal human communication.
Hobbies/Interests:
Errol has a keen interest in writing. He publishes (Admittedly mediocre) short stories under a pseudonym. He also spends a good portion of his time playing fantasy RPG’s.
Skills/Talents:
Due to his training, Errol is in fairly decent physical condition and is aware of how to use a firearm. Perhaps due to his ability, he’s become skilled at manipulating people, even without suggestion.
Goals/Motivation
Errol just wants to be happy. He was bored with his parents, lonely in the MISW, and now he’s bored and lonely.
History/Bio:
Errol was born in Glasgow, Scotland to non-meta parents as “Erroll Thomson”. He was educated in what was marketed as the premiere school for Metahumans in Scotland, but was little more than a front for an MISW training program. When he got to the “MacIntryre’s School for Gifted Children and Metahumans,” his parents were given an option. If they gave the government custody of their child, they’d receive a reusable tax write off. As baseline humans in a severely anti-Metahuman city who deeply afraid of the stigmata of having a Metahuman child, they complied. Errol, who had just turned seven, was told that his parents had given up custody of him and was transported to an MISW Training facility in Northern Scotland. At the MISW facility, he was trained in the use of his powers and given an advanced education. When he “graduated” at age 18, he was immediately made an investigative MISW agent. He worked for almost five years, his past life all but forgotten, when he was contacted by Anti-Baseline Metahuman Extremists. They encouraged him to give them MISW documents related to the U.K. Federal Oppression of Metahumans. Errol didn’t exactly buy into the whole “Death to all humans” bit, but he felt there was something wrong with his country’s treatment of Metahumans. Seeing no other way to combat this, he complied. He operated as a spy for The Allegiance, as he soon found out the extremists were called, under the callsign Glasgow. “Glasgow” leaked all sorts of confidential MISW documents. Some to the Allegiance, some to news agencies. It wasn’t long before the MISW was devoting resources to find out who the hell Glasgow was. When a friend in the Agency warned him that the government suspected him, he downloaded everything he could onto a flashdrive and gave it to the extremists. He fled the country that same day. He changed the spelling of his first name and created a Surname out of thin air, as a result, he filed a U.S. Work Visa under the name Errol MacReid. He lived in Seattle for a year, just recently moving to Baybridge.

Relationships
Family:
The only family he knows of are his parents, who are currently under the impression that their son is dead and has been for almost 20 years. Errol hasn’t told them, thinking that they’ve likely moved on.
Dynamics: (Relations with other characters - You don't have to put relation with family here.) Whereas a mind control user might bend someone's mind and force them to do something they don’t want to do, say, shooting a friend. With suggestion, instead of forcing someone to do something, you implant a thought in their head, like shooting a friend. The thought grows and suddenly, they want to shoot their friend.
Limits:
Suggestion is more limited than mind control in a few ways. For one, it’s more complicated. It’s less like carjacking and more like rigging their GPS to take them where you want. It’s harder and it isn’t always effective. A strong-willed individual might be able to resist that sudden urge to punch their friend in the face. While suggesting doesn’t require speech or physical contact, Errol still needs to be able to see his target as well as be within twenty feet of them (It should be noted that suggestions are entirely telepathic and, if performed correctly, the target should have no idea that they’re under duress at all.). The suggestions can be literally anything, but more complex suggestions are easier to resist (As an example, the average adult baseline human will likely be able to resist if Errol suggests something like “Drop your gun and lock yourself in the bathroom.” More effective would be the suggestion “fall.” The target would likely fall to the ground. Granted, the effectiveness and available complexity of the suggestion depends on the complexity of a target’s mind. A child, for example, is more susceptible to suggestion than an adult. An average adult is going to be more vulnerable than, say, a highly trained soldier.). A single target can only receive one suggestion every twenty-four hours, regardless of whether or not the target resisted it. Errol can use the power as many times and as often as needed, just on different people. It should be noted that Suggestion does not work on other Metahumans of the Cerebral Power Class.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
Due to the concentration it takes to suggest, Errol is left oblivious of his surroundings while using his power. While he technically doesn’t have a limit on how often he can suggest, using the ability too often can lead to nosebleeds, migraines, or unconsciousness.
Other:

Errol is addicted to caffeine.
