Personality: Jax is a very serious person who does his best to try and keep a level head no matter the situation. He is more than happy to try and talk his way out of a fight rather than rushing into anything too reckless. He leans more towards the shy side and is extremely honest, humble, and patient when it comes to interacting the people or evaluating situations. Though he has a slight rebellious streak that shows from time to time whenever he comes across authority figures abusing their power.

Home Island/Sea: South Blue

History:  Jax was the youngest child of wealthy family on the island he was born. He always felt like the runt of the family because he was always slower, weaker, and less intelligent than his older brothers. This was mostly because he was 10 years younger than his other brothers. He always felt like the child that was forgotten about, so he spent most of his time playing with the children of the servants, so he picked up their habits of always acting lower than his family. His father was most displeased with Jax taking up traits that he determined to be unbecoming of such a wealthy family.
Jax was then sent to the Marines in order to train him to be more confident and take charge in situations with a gung-ho attitude. Though he showed great ability in marksmanship, he was deemed to not have the proper disposition for a soldier, so he was put into a squad that focused on working on the cannons. From there he was able to work on his cannon accuracy and his rifle prowess by firing on enemies from a long distance. Jax saw many high born Marine members move up a lot quicker and abusing lower Marines and he had enough of these abuses that he has witnessed since his childhood. He decided to carefully plan a mutiny on his ship. It took him months to plan his successful mutiny, but little did he know that his ship was carrying a devil fruit to headquarters. The crew decided that Jax would be the best option to have the fruit since he was their leader. They sailed the ship to the closest port and sold it for its materials. The crew split this gold and went their separate ways since the Marine will be on the lookout for their stolen Devil Fruit.

Fruit: Gon-Gon Fruit-Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows Jax to create portals with two potential uses, partial materializing and whole materializing. Partial: Is more likely to be used in a fight where he is able to throw fists quickly with only his hand teleporting. Whole is more likely for tactical withdrawals or if he needs to travel somewhere on an island quickly. He has not yet been able to stabilize his teleportation to allow more than just him to go through his portals. He can only travel anywhere he has been in the last 24 hours. The distance limit to partial is 10 to a hundred feet. The distance for whole is 100 onward, this will require for you to completely dissolve your body before re-spawning somewhere else.

Fighting Style: Jax prefers to stay back so he is able to view everything all at once so he makes the right move. He is able to snipe any one from a decent distance, or he teleports his bullets in order to take enemies by surprise. He has some formal close combat training due to being in the Marines, but he is more likely to try and fall back to make the enemy bring the fight to him than charge in with his fists.
