Hmm, I was referring more through my character's perspective, but I'd think Vin would just get a weird feeling overall being in her presence. Especially if he found out what she did to her father. 

And, you need to remember, he's a city boy, and if [i]Deliverance[/i] taught him anything, it was to not trust creepy kids (with Banjos).
