She began to bandage the stump, pressing the non-stick dressing until the bandage held it in place, making it tight and tying it off as best she could, before trying to coax Sophie to take the pain killers. It wasn't easy doing this in the back of the wagon, but every moment counted right then. She only wished that she had more stuff. IV antibiotics would do more good then what she had, as well as IV anti imflammatories. Fluids was most important. She wasn't a doctor despite the redimentary training she'd had since the outbreak. She couldn't do surgery. All she knew were diseases, medications and first aid. She had hoped to raid a doctors office, get other stuff she needed but that hasn't happened. As they rolled up at the gate to the walled complex, she looked up, the woman on the wall seemed quite rude and it seemed from her attitude that they weren't getting in. "The dead be that way and relative safety lies that way! Let's us in damn it! My friend is hurt and there's only so much I can do in the back of a wagon! She needs fluids and that involves some equipment I don't have and that I'm sure you have! Just take her, please!" her voice started out angry, but became desperate as she continued: "Please!" she knew that their only hope now lay inside those walls. They wouldn't be able to get away from the horde any other way. She bowed her head, lookin back to Sophie to see how she was holding up. She needed to be inside those walls. There was no other way. So Niesha would get them in. She looked up again, "Please! You might have a good stock of medications now, but that will run out! I have the knowledge to make more and I know what plants have the same effects! If you let us in, I can help. Just help my friend!" in these days it was about what you could do for someone else, and not what they could do for you.
