Lyris smiled as her new Snow Elf friend described her own liking of flowers and laughed when she mentioned bees. "Yes, bees are quite the hazard when it comes to flowers." It was after that that she noticed another elf walking over, she could only assume it was a different type of elf from the one she was talking to. Taller, for sure. There was a subtly to skin tone as well but that didn't really matter as much. She wasn't sure of the relationship between the two types of elves and she did want to ask, but decided against it. . . Or maybe it is better to say that the voice demanding everyone's attention was the cause. It was time for the Demos! Well, not that she cared much. Sure she had mageblood, sure she went to the school, it didn't mean she went to learn. Lyris was mostly in it to get away from "home" and have a place to stay. She wasn't even sure how she ended up there but it didn't matter as she was there now and that's all that mattered. While she wasn't paying much attention there was a loud noise, thunder but really close. Her back tensed as she recoiled from the noise and then metal everywhere seemed to lift into the air. . . Luckily she didn't have any metal on! Or, maybe it was just that she had metal that didn't react to the spell. She wasn't sure. The outfit was "commandeered" from a village. It was supposedly a traditional robe of the Alanian with holes for the wings and all! Something of heritage for her. . . Probably. Then, in the middle of thought, everything fell! Looking around, with things poking out of wooden surfaces, forks, weapons . . . Spoons? "Someone must have done that themselves." Most likely someone who was rather angry. . . Lyris was actually pretty curious what would anger someone enough to put a spoon, headfirst, down into wood. It must have happened rather recently too, as apparently even excessively heavy objects (by Lyris's standards) were even picked up. Finding no answer in the nearby people, she dropped the subject for sake of her own sanity. Noticeable, her Snow Elf friend was missing. After looking for about half a second, Aramir was finally spotted. Her bow (Lyris could only assume it had something to do with the electric madness that just happened) was now in the hands of. . . Some snake person. "A naga, was it?" She had only seen them today that she could remember. A book on different species was back at home and seeing as she read almost every book there, she recognized the race's name. "Now, this is interesting." She said as she wondered whether she should help, or just stand back and see what happens.
