Disability: Misophonia (her trigger is the sound of human speech.  Pretty much all human speech...)  As she doesn't like communicating with others, she's also effectively mute.
 
How they got disabled:  As far as anyone knows, she was born with it.  It's hard to say for sure.
 
Sexuality: Straight
 
Personality: Alyson doesn't like engaging others in conversation (because of the aforementioned misophonia), and always carries a notebook and pen with her, in case she wants to talk to someone which isn't often.  This tend to give off the impression that she's...well...kind of a bitch, a fact which isn't lost on her.  Those who understand her disability and oblige her find that she's actually pretty friendly, though she always seems to be in a bad mood.
 
How they feel about disability:  In a word, she hates her disability.  Imagine being enraged by the voices of the people you're supposed to love, and who love you.  Or being annoyed by the people you are supposed to be listening to.  Movies, songs, etc...these things are essentially nails on a chalkboard to her.
 
How they came to the school:  Her parents sent her to this school in the hopes that they would be able to acclimate her to the sound of human speech.[/hider]
