"You two are most silly... Ever thought of being a comedy duo?" Monica said in amusement as she watched the half naked man getting flipped by the Demihuman. Monica gave a thumbs up. "Both very athletic. I wish I could be as... amazing as you." Monica winked to Karn. "But Wylde... You must show me that swordsmen ship again. Especially in the performance." She rubbed her hands together as there was a glint in her eyes. She seemed very hopeful before she looked to Baku who was holding a crocodile that looked far too fat. "What...? That is... still alive?" Monica blinked before having a flash back at when the crocodile was tiny... now it was morbidly obese and seemed to hardly move past it's eyes... yet somehow it always found away to move... To Monica, the crocodile looked to her for love and attention with it's hopeful fat eyes... and possibly scraps. "Chauncey... You need a diet..." "My Croc needs no such thing." Baku chuckled before placing the animal down. "How does it even move... I'm an Alchemist, and a Geologist... Science is just... Well a fundamental... then you have anatomy... and yet... this thing should have died years ago..." Monica felt a pulse from the Crocodile... It was something familiar yet different. "I must know your secret... She thought. _______________________ The Princess had her long draping hair in a blue clip to keep it from going loose, she also held her mace- something given to her by her mother as a child. There was something odd about the grip, bit it felt fine in her hands, even if the ridges were odd to get used to. "Mother..." "Yes darling?" As the Princess walked into her mother's chambers- She could see two tapestry like carpets in plain view of a pink rose surrounded by thrones with red boarders. Her mother had a thing for roses it would seem. To the left was Queen Brahne sitting on cushions of a similar design. Brahne was a 39 year woman with pale, blue skin, large lips, and a bulbous, purple nose, amount of makeup, including blush and lipstick, and her face is covered in freckles. Her eyes are blacked out under a large domed golden helmet from which two blonde, bristly ponytails protrude from either side. She dresses extravagantly, wearing a long red coat with a feathered trim, a striped blouse, a long skirt with a golden sash, and a lot of jewelry. She even cared a red fan that had a rose pattern. "I am curious what the surprise is you have for me. Xorn and Thorn told me to see you after I was done getting cleaned and fed. "Remember your favorite play you used to recite with your father- bless his soul." "I want to be your Canary?" "That is the one." The queen's lips curled into a smile, as did the Princess'. A single tear dropped from Garnet's face. "Dear...?" The Queen tilted her head a bit in concern. "I wish father was here is all. I miss seeing you smile more." Brahne let out a sign with no recourse or rebuttal. "I will not have my baby act as a baby. I shall see her smiling on her day of the year, even if it takes every knight of Pluto, or Alexandria's army to recite the play themselves. Now please. Be happy." Brahne placed her arm around her daughter as she stood up, she walked the Princess to the court yard where the roses bloomed. "Garnet dear. Life ife like flowers, people. Everything starts from a tiny seed, an infant. Even in the most docile state everything is beautiful. You're beautiful like this garden..." She moved more over to a decaying boutique of flowers. "Like flowers, people wither away and become nothing but a beautiful memory, and some can be ugly memories, like memories of the war stories. Your father was a beautiful memory, but we all must live in the present. Your father would have wanted that." She embraced her daughter into a hug before looking into her brown eyes and smiling. "I'm so proud of the young women before me. And you should be proud of this nation. When I pass, I know everything will be in good hands. But that won't be for a while, and I'll be here with you. Now please, let's enjoy the evening." Brahne managed to get Garnet to smile. ____________________ In the Inari's Den, Cassius shrugged at the response... Absolutely unbelievable... Cassius believed in facts, in some cases he cannot excuse the possibility of coincidence... But this boy was throwing himself at them in his eyes... He just could not fathom why he wanted to just... throw himself into his affairs. It was illogical! "As much as I appreciate your... concern into wanting to contribute... You're but a child to me... No... You're 20...?" Cassius looked to the Lumyian... In his mind he saw a flustered response from Itzel. Whatever it was he saw... It was not his concern, his focus was on what was in front of him. "Fine. But the moment you cause me trouble, we are parting ways... But I must warn you. You're about to be involved in way too many things over your head... I'm a Hexer. You know what that is...?" Cassius peered at Itzel for a moment before refusing anyone a chance to speak up. "A Person who looks into unusual anomalies and phenomena... in some cases Science can be applied for explanations... yet not everyone is as educated in such fields... So it is my job to investigate those that cause distress within such an application. In some cases... even Hexers can fail to see the reason though application... In which case we contain the unusual, the super natural... and even the unruly... I take my job very seriously." Cassius took a breath before extending his hand out to Itzel. "Cassius Alexandros Lumya Svent." He formally introduced himself. "If... You are serious about wanting to follow... Stay by Hitori... After a duel happens on the stage... I need both of you to get glamoured as Alexandrian Guards... Seeing your height...? Should not be too hard." Cassius chuckled. "From there, meet the princess. And from there... Karn... A Feline Demihuman should meeting you at a reasonable escape route to bring her in... Failure... Will not be tolerated... That is my condition of you being here... I apologize if I seem harsh... But I absolutely need you to follow what is being said here... And Hitori... I need you to keep him from going astray..." Cassius gave a nod to Hitori. Just then his Radio buzzed. "Cassius. We will be landing in Twenty minutes... Get to the castle." Monica spoke up, Baku was looming over her. "Alright. Anything else?" Cassius spoke up as he was heading out. "Not really lad. But I think Blank will be happy to see you outside of the armor." Monica chuckled. "Don't you mean Ritsu?" Cassius responded, smirking as he began walking down a narrowing pathway through the candle district. Ever light post had a different colored candle that contrasted with it's brickwork... It was a quiet district, but the most direct shortcut that would save him time. "Monica... Tell me about this lad." Baku prodded her shoulder. "He is a Hexer. And... Considered to be a good asset by the Regent... Helped me occasionally with my breakthroughs... Like the Mooncrest flask... Umm... Indestructible blue flask that generate ether over time..." Monica elaborated before holding a case of them. "This is a very valuable asset... One he suggested I bring. There is also the Rising Sun Flask... The red flask that generates a restorative type of elixir similar to potions... yet you can put potions in them... But don't let their sizes fool you... these can hold about a gallon... Which is why... we have them in cases." Monica chuckled. "And finally... the Absolutely indestructible flask... Normally we advise putting blade oils in these, to poisons... and other sorts of things that can go as far as medicines. He currently has a set of these flask. Very helpful in his line of work... But... I am not at liberty to speak of his personal life. We keep it professional." Monica placed a finger over her lips and gave a wink to Baku. "Fair enough lass... I just wish he was more... chatty with the rest of us like you. Such a positive influence you are cheeky girl." Baku gave a slight hardy laugh before holding gems of a sort, placing them on the stage costumes. He walked over to a table, tapping a larger stone, there was a flare of vibrant colors on the outfits. "Hmm... I see you perfected the Prism Gems. This will be a spectacular performance!" Baku roared pridefully, boasting about a creation that wasn't even his. Monica grinned before standing up. "Don't forget, as long as you hold this stone, you can adjust anything with a prism gem on set to look like your ideal imagination... Kumiho magicians let me in on this. Stage glamour if you will." "Sounds like you got quite a team in Lindblum lass." Baku grinned. ____________________ In the Castle, there were several individuals giving gifts to the Princess, in which case some of them were rather plain dresses to unusual patterns that did not impress- but She no less expressed gratitude. "It would have been nice if an Oracle arrived." A man in a grey and white garb walked forth- he had unusual metallic boots that were particularly spiky at toes. His hair was slicked back into curls- it could however be inferred his hair was normally spiked at a medium length. "Sir Daironus, Judge under the Grandanian Throne and councilor of Foreign affairs. To what do we owe the pleasure?" Spoke the queen. She seemed rather surprised to see someone so far from the east to come on such a day as this. The princess however seemed uneasy based on how her eyes could not seem to fix onto him. "My lady, I've come on behalf of the Throne, the councilmen and women, the good country, and it's people to formally wish a happy evening upon this fine Princess who is worthy of the Baton for this fine kingdom." He smirked as he held a sword, holding it in it's diamond sheathe. Beatrix walked over casually as The Judge held it out to her, grasping it before taking it over to Princess Garnet. "Quite a lovely sword..." Garnet mumbled, somewhat uneasy around weapons. "Do not mistake it for an ornament. It is quite sharp, the general would be able to train you effectively. She who has slain over a hundred of the world's finest men in war." He smirked sharply. "The legends are not as everyone always exaggerates them to be- Your grace." There was an uneasiness that projected off of Beatrix to this man. "None the less. You're a powerful women. But I'm not here to just give a sword and a bow to everyone." "You're here for an Oracle that does not show itself." The Queen interrupted. "That is true, and quite perceptive. Truly a worthy -" "Don't sit here and mock me and pretend I can't see through here you slave mongering man! Even if there was an Oracle here on such a day, no one would present one in your presence. You'd just have a crew of slavers waiting for when he or she leaves to take them back to your Lavish country. And I won't have that attitude in my kingdom. Trading materials in fine, but not trading lives." Brahms smile went into a sour expression that emanated a fierce aura. "I... I see." The Judge seemed to be at a lack of words. The Queen simply smiled. "Bow and be on your way." The Judge somewhat rattled as he did just that. "I'll not have my daughter be exposed to such a toxic society and way of living. No daughter of mine." Brahne exclaimed as he was out of ear shot. "My lady. Tantalus should be arriving within the hour. Less in fact... But I need to greet the Hexer." Beatrix spoke as her working eye shifted from the doorway to the Queen. "Hear that Garnet? The tension will be gone soon, and we can laugh and cry at a performance that truly is said to be worthy of praise." "But mother, remember when critics praised ' Bogarat and the Lonely Man'?" "We don't speak of that in any circumstance, ever..." The Queen frowned as if her face became a lemon at the thought of such an abhorrent performance. They however were expecting a grand one. "Hello." Spoke a broad voice. "And might I ask who has stepped foot in my kingdom?" "You could call me a rare fortune teller." Brahne smirked at the response, her lips curling oddly. Garnet however somewhat tilted her head. "My mother asked who you are, now I recommend you'd speak." She stood up, holding her gift from earlier. "I spoke, even if it wasn't the response she wanted. As hair to the throne, I think you should be familiar with the idea of differing results, especially with such an untrained hand." The male spoke once again. "But to the point your majesty... The future is subject to change..." "A Lumyian." Beatrix spoke as she walked closer to the male. Observing as he crossed his arms. "You don't have the form of a fighter, so it is safe to assume you're here on your own accord, one of non-violence." The male turned his head to face the one eyed general. "That is a safe assumption. But you must take magic into consideration. But yeah, I'm not here for a fight. Even I know what is suicidal." He chuckled. Brahne got a chuckle out of the scene between he and Beatrix. "Well... We welcome you with open arms with such open honesty. But you may go on with the fortune, but there is no hurry." "Unfortunately I have a schedule to keep, but I'll speak clearly as I can without dodging the point." He bowed his head, as did her majesty. "As for this evening, there will be differing results as everyone plays a wheel of fate, but it is a matter of what cogs work in conjunction. As the judge works against you, and my kind, he also works for an absolute factor- control." He readjusted his stance a bit, leaning onto his left side a bit. "There will be falling out due to trust between the nations, and Burmecia may fall..." The Queen's eyes widen a bit, fanning herself a bit in a attempt not to make a outburst. "Garnet... She will have a fun life..." he turned his head to the Princess. "But there will be a period of uncertainty for everyone... be strong and endure..." He bowed once again. "But... Why does Burmecia fall!? And period of uncertainty!?" The princess spoke up. "This is a trial everyone will have to face, and such events are subject to change, only few can make such a change of course. With that, I say have a happy birthday. And try not to get burned." He said before turning on his heel. The air went stagnate as the stranger left. "Your majesty..." "Beatrix... we will deal with such matters as they come along. But it is something to ponder and discuss openly, but tonight we try to enjoy ourselves." Beatrix bowed as he placed her hand upon her breast plate, a slight fist forming. "You're dismissed." As the Shadowy Figure left the castle, he saw a man in a Violet garb, most of him was covered with cloak of the same color, thus leaving the finer details. He did however see the man have his baby blue eyes, the man was much taller than he. He tipped his head to the man, to which drew his attention. "Never knew black was in this season." "Black is usually in and out." The man retorted to the violet colored one. "Quite the play of words black Raven, though you seem to be migrating, as if a sign of death...Yet your eyes so innocent like that of a young bahhing babe." He somewhat drew closer. "Sign of death is accurate. But to who it matters to, that is irrelevant." The man smirked a bit, his pearly teeth showing a tad bit. "Well. A good day to you." "Right... While I may be the Black Raven, you're the White one. Though it isn't my place to say who is bringing death." The shadowy figure turned back onto his heel as he sat down in a wooden boat. Alexandrian guards seemed to be on the look out for a rumored killer. A male and a female were rowing the boat together. One of which wore a green leotard, hair braided, yet slightly draping to the sides. The male wearing somewhat rusted ivory armor. Cassius waited at the other end of the moat... To which he was brought across. Not far off from him, The Priam Vista had landed. Other Patrons would slowly gather at the dock Cassius had departed from... Hopefully Itzel and Hitori would be soon after to follow through.
