He's standing at a slightly above average 6 foot 1 inches, with his hair bumping him up another inch. In addition, his general body build is narrow and wiry- not as narrow as some, but still wiry. He doesn't necessarily look strong, though he has little fat at the moment and mainly just muscle mass. His shoulders are somewhat narrow- more so than the average male- and he has a sharper appearance. Specifically, he has brown, oft-colored hair, and rather normal hazel eyes (even if they do have little flecks of red in them). His hands and feet are about the average size for a guy his age, though his fingers are a little longer and narrower. He also has a bit of facial hair, more of a fading thick stubble along his jawline, and a bit of a mustache that connects with his scratchy short beard. Clothing Style: A casual formal, or whatever it is. He likes his collared shirts, he likes his trenchcoats, and he likes his jeans. You'll rarely see him in something besides this- he'll even show up to running practice in a collared shirt. Granted, it's a sports shirt with a collar, but it's still a collar. He'll occasionally flick the collar all the way up and glare at someone, for dramatic effect. Normal running shoes cut it for him, though he has a pair of military boots for those things that normal shoes shouldn't handle.

Delving Deeper
Quirks/Oddities/Habits

Messes with his hair when nervous
Fixes his hair when nervous
Starts humming, and beats the tip of his index finger against the bottom of his thumb to whatever tune it he's got in his head
Has a natural scowl on his face, except for when he's humming.
Keeps a list of people he doesn't like on a small flippable notepad, which he keeps with him all the time. Updates regularly.
Doodles in his notepad as well
Always watches the sunrise and the sunset. Always.
Likes:

Trains
Explosions
Fountains
Pretty views and sunsets/sunrises
Revenge, served cold.
Snakes. He has one, actually. A very special one named Fidi.
Nature spirits, such as dryads or naiads. They raised him; he has a soft spot for them.
Dislikes:

Rabbits. And rats. And mice. He absolutely hates the furry little creatures.
Midday. It always puts him in a bad mood.
Stupid things. Whether it's someone being stupid, someone that's actually stupid, a stupid thought, stupid suggestion, anything. If it's stupid, he really dislikes it.
Devil's advocate. He hates the people who are arguing against something already planned- such as someone arguing against an unknown item being a certain object, when there are no other reasonable possibilities.
Audiobooks. Absolutely hates the damn things.
Fears:

Being sent to the Fields of Punishment- not death, but at failing to reach Elysium.
Betrayal by someone trusted
Geese. He is absolutely terrified of Canadian Geese. One attacked him as a child, and while he actually killed the damned thing, he's been afraid of them ever since.
Personality: ♦ Vengeful ♦ Wary ♦ Determined ♦ Thoughtful Believe it or not, Darius, as a son of a rather old-fashioned man and Nemesis, is quite the vengeful soul. Cross him, and you will likely find spiders in your bed. Maybe even a black widow. He doesn't appear to have grudges- in fact, after crossing him, you might find that he's just chill with it and it never happened- and yet, you will most definitely find dog crap in your chocolate ice cream. He keeps a list. Speaking generally, he keeps tabs on the severity of one's transgressions against them, and responds accordingly, and he is very, very patient. A year after he has been crossed, people have been revenged upon. So it is, with Darius. Other than his vengeful, never-forget side, he's a wary guy. He sees everyone as both a possible friend, and a possible enemy. He knows that anyone can go any way, based on one's behavior. Despite this, he isn't an outgoing guy- his goal isn't to make as many friends and allies as possible. He is the son of the goddess of revenge- few people ever manage to get revenge on the guy who is literally a partial representation of revenge. He keeps an eye out on his six, he checks around corners and the ceilings before fully walking into a room. Slightly paranoid, he is. More than that, he's very slow to open up, unless he feels particularly good about someone. Again- he doesn't want to find that a friend is actually an enemy. Beyond this, he is determined. If he wants revenge- he will likely get it, whether in a minute, or in a decade. Onwards with this, he's also one of the better swordsmen and runners in camp, simply because he doesn't stop training. Every morning, he's running. Every afternoon, he's swinging a sword. Some wonder how he can keep up with schoolwork; he spends a good bit of time doing that too. So it is. Any time he's not working on his speed, stamina, or swordsmanship, you might see him with a couple of his friends, strolling about, practicing archery (they're not that great), and discussing random topics. In addition to the rest of this, Darius is very thoughtful and intelligent. He takes words to heart and thinks them through, through many possibilities and reasons and more. He sees the stars and knows that there are actually suns way out there, and that they can also be created by the gods- which has given him many a headache. He sees both the reason and the magic in a great many things, even in anger and hate. However, if he has a soft spot for something- something he cares about and truly doesn't want to harm, he will most likely not harm it. He'll get revenge some other way- but not without real distress, real harm. For example, there's a dryad that enjoys tricking him, playing with him, every time he comes near the forest- and he's never begrudged the dryad her fun. Background: There's little he'll admit about his life before Olympus, but here's what's gotten out anyhow, for anyone who digs around enough and puts all the pieces together. Darius lived with a somewhat... unstable father on the outskirts of a mid-sized town, on the shore of a nice, pretty lake. From the very start, Darius wandered around with naiads and dryads- they were surprised by his awareness of them, but they acted as a mother to the lad in his real mother's absence. His father wasn't the best man, but he did care, and he took care of his kid, when he wasn't "wondering among the nature." The man actually knew who it was who conceived his child, and it was from that he became a little unstable. So with a kind but... messy father, and a multitude of sweet-faced nature spirits as his parental figures, he grew up. He saw that the grass both grew because of the nutrients and water, and because the dryads' presence infused it with strength. He learned from going to plain old school in town that kids can be nice, can be mean- they're just looking out for themselves, and many times, being mean was how it was done. So while he was home, he was sweet. And while he was at school, he ruled. Nemesis came out quite strong, during school hours. No one wanted to cross him- but when no one crossed him, everything was well and good. This did not last. Eventually, monsters began sniffing his presence. The lake that he resided at was such a hotspot for nature spirits that most monsters never got close- they were destroyed by the nature spirits, or simply led in circles until they left. Until, of course, a monster didn't. It was then that a satyr was called in. Just as the monsters had difficulty sniffing out the demigod, so did the satyr- but the nature spirits were on his side, so he found him well enough. It was at this time that Darius was fifteen or sixteen- unusually old for a demigod to be out in the world. His father somehow kept their land, the dryads and naiads still took care of them, but he had to leave. He was preparing for college, so it wasn't too terribly much of a surprise, but it was still far sooner than he expected. Either way- he left with a monster on his heels, a satyr leading the way. Fifteen days later, he was introduced to the camp. And he's been there ever since. No tragic backstory, nothing particularly dramatic. Just that he had been raised by nature spirits and a shaken mortal. Extra: The proud owner of- yes, you got it!- a ball python! He picked it up just a year earlier, and he loves his ball python to death- who is aptly named Fidi, for the Greek word of Serpent/Snake. Fidi is a three-foot-long nonvenomous python which can often be seen curled around Darius's neck, wrists, or occasionally bedpost. He has his own glass home on Darius's nightstand.

Godly Information
Godly Parent: Nemesis Relationship With Godly Parent: Relatively nonexistent. Where it does 'exist', it's simply on a friendly basis. Darius has never felt wronged by his mother, and Nemesis has no reason to particularly dislike her son- so when they interact, they're just fine with each other. Nemesis found him a place to be raised, after all- Vengeful she may be, caring she was also. Darius understood this, and was fine with it. They're less like mother/son and more like friendly acquaintances, if such a thing with a goddess is possible. Darius is wary of her, though. She is still the goddess of revenge. Godly Abilities: Darius is naturally wary, and an ability that assists him is a sense of anyone who is planning on getting revenge or vengeance- if someone is sneaking around at night with the intent to dump a bucket of dyed water all over one's floor, Darius is probably awake and roughly aware of where they are. In addition to this, Darius also has the natural, passive ability of knowing a grudge when it's talked about. If he hears Person A talking about Person B, no matter the tone, Darius is likely able to tell if Person A has a grudge against Person B, intuitively. Granted, all this really does is give Darius a little edge if he wants to manipulate someone, or be aware of grudges against himself. Maybe not as useful as lightning or summoning a watery trident, but having a sort of radar and grudge-detector can be handy.
