One, suspension of disbelief. Two, ghosts can very easily interact with physical things, where do you think paranormal activity comes from? Three, MY ghost's primary enemy was [i]other[/i] ghosts so that point is pretty much completely moot. Also, my ghost's corporealness was intended to be tied directly to his feelings and emotions, so technically he was invisible and unable to interact permanently by default. Having strong enough emotions would have been the deciding factor on whether or not he could make himself corporeal.

Regardless, that ship has long since sailed so there's no point in debating it now.
