Gleampier
[@Xan the G][@Eklispe] [@BlueSky44] “Hey bro, not cool!” The blonde-haired brother, who had just returned his Poliwag, glared in Vuduin’s direction as he reset the Budew’s position onto his feet. Despite what Vuduin thought he saw, the brothers hadn’t interacted with their Pokémon at this point. Chuck continued to point fingers, perhaps a bit salty about his own loss. “Pokémon can’t be assisted in battle.” The red-haired brother crossed his arms and looked to Chuck. His mouth slanted to the side, and his pupils appeared to dance on other side of his eyes. “Come on, man, let him be. We’re all still figuring this out.” Chuck shook his head, standing up quickly and punching the air about him. He massaged his forehead, palm circling the skin and fingers intertwined within his blonde curls. He kept making loud, sighing noises, but you couldn’t see his mouth behind his arm. “Whatever, bro. That’s cheating. We should win off that.” “I get it, man. But this is our first battle, and it’s not like there’s a need to referee so much.” Chuck nodded his head slowly, wiping his face with a downward stroke. His fingers caressed his temples before finally he released his palm. He looked to Puck with a knowing smirk, blue eyes giving off a star of a spark. “You’re right, bro. I just got heated, that’s all.” The blonde-haired sailor balled his fist, resting his chin on the opening. He retained his smirk as he eyed the three of you, a warm aura emanating from his glance. He opened his mouth, revealing two perfect rows of straight, white teeth. “Hey, don’t let up on the Broletariat! This battle’s far from over! And we’re gonna win!” Poochyena’s strategy was to jump away from the grip of Machop, but this simply wasn’t possible. The hound was now in the realm of the Superpower Pokémon. Within the wrestling ring, the fighting Pokémon was king. When Poochyena attempted to rest itself from his grip, the Pokémon only found another position from which to pin him down. An offensive approach may have been more effective in this instance. Nevertheless, Poochyena was now in the iron grip of Machop. “That’s it Brohammed Ali! Make him tap!” Machop wrapped its bulbous arms about the neck of Poochyena, and formed a circle by clasping its palms together. It then gave a mighty tug backward, putting Poochyena into an improvised chokehold. And after some struggling moments of this, Budew would choose to Absorb the entangled duo. There was no way to differentiate targets in this instance, even if his intent was to solely Absorb only the Machop. They were simply too close together. Green, glowing orbs flew to their location and surrounded the wrestling pair. Ethereal, emerald ribbons emanated from the bodies of both Poochyena and Machop. Their final ounces of energy had drained from their bodies, and now there seemed to be no more fight left in either of them. They both would collapse to the floor. “Brohammed Ali! You’ve got to get up! Don’t KO now!” ~MACHOP IS UNABLE TO BATTLE!~ ~POOCHYENA IS UNABLE TO BATTLE!~ That left the Budew, standing vigorous and vivacious as the energy of both Pokémon became one with its inner ferocity. Large and in charge, there was only one obstacle left to face…
CRASH
The homing missile of a Magikarp had been descending this entire time. Its momentum climbed until it collided with Budew, its significant weight enough to knock the bulb Pokémon onto its back once again. The two skidded and slid until they rested in a precarious position, hardwood floor squeaking until the two halted. The Magikarp ended up on top of the Budew, repeatedly smacking the grass Pokémon’s face with its serrated tail fin. No mercy. “KAAAARP!” “That’s it Brometheus! Finish this!” The Broletariat cheered on the final duo. Whoever won the engagement would crown their team as victors.
