Arthur is above average height, standing at 5' 11", is broad shouldered and has a strong build from years of playing a variety of sports.  Ever since he stopped growing, in the last year or so, he has undergone physical training under the instruction of a tutor to enhance his potential as a sportsman and athlete.  As such he is well toned and has a habit of beginning every morning early with a round of intense exercise.

He is naturally pale skinned but has a long-term tan from his frequent outdoors activities and has very pale hair, blond almost to the point of being white-haired. His eyes are a turquoise colour, bright and warm, with an intensity that could be unnerving if it were not for the relaxed air that surrounds their owner.

[b]History[/b] 

Arthur was born and bred in Southern England of the United Kingdom.  His father was a successful accountant to the wealthy in London, often away for weeks or even months at a time while his mother had worked as a lawyer before Arthur came along.  After that she retired but still received a sizeable income after inheriting controlling shares of a large stationary company built up by her grandfather.

Ever since Arthur can remember his mother has been mentally unstable and it supposedly only got worse after giving birth to him.  Arthur's father never said a thing but it was clear he put a great deal of blame on his son and, although he provided an extraordinarily privileged upbringing, there was no love in the relationship.  When the option for going to a boarding school arose Arthur was shipped off before he even knew what was happening and ever since has rarely returned home and even then only for a brief period of time.

As one might expect with such wealth in the family, Arthur had access to the most expensive tutors and trainers with a great deal of expectation thrust upon the only child in the family.  His strong academic performance was matched with an array of athletic and other sporting awards and it was inevitable that he was given multiple scholarships to Eton, the most expensive and prestigious school in the country.  Here he brushed shoulders with the offspring of former Prime Ministers and other leading politicians, the children of the richest and most powerful businessmen and women and even the occasional Royal (although not any heirs to the throne, of course).

Over the years he learned to enjoy his time away from home and his family and became very independent.  A lot of his spare time was spent with various sports team (specifically the badminton, rugby and athletic clubs) and the rest was in the expansive libraries his affluent schools opened to their pupils.

It was during one of these spells in the quiet library that he was seized by the programme's operatives and secreted out to a waiting vehicle, the librarian conveniently called away to an emergency elsewhere.

[b]Power:[/b] Accelerated healing.

It was during a rugby game that Arthur first had a clue to his power's existence. A high tackle wrenched his left shoulder out of its socket but his coach forced it back in as there was no sub to take his place and cancelling a game due to injury would forever be a blight upon the school's record. The next few scrums put additional pressure on the shoulder until his collar bone fractured just as the game ended.

Once at hospital it was found the injury had begun to mend already and he constantly exceeded his doctor's time frames for the recovery process to the point of it being abnormal.
