[@Buddha] the [i]Vitae[/i] was built on Earth, traveled to Mars when completed for a test flight (Where it picked up passengers from Mars) then returned and landed back on Earth to try and limit it's detection during final checks to prevent the [b]Devastators[/b] from coming to wipe the Arks out.

The Arks are currently in the Cradle of Humanity, Africa.
