In all senses of the word, Garret seems to be a normal human being. However, upon closer inspection, there's small traces of super-soldier serum in his blood stream (much like Mrs. Romanoff herself) and something locking his amygdala from leaking some rather potent memories into his consciousness. I suspect such memories have been contained for a reason and the enhanced potential hidden from him for that very reason, as well. In so far, my studies indicate that Garret Rogers is exceptionally well tuned to his surroundings - a perception of an inhuman degree that allows him to hear even the lightest of footsteps. He often whistles (exactly how he earned his alias) to pinpoint the location of various targets without looking. A signature of his, if you will. It's a weird form of echolocation without actually having the inherent power. He's a very creative individual and I'm certain that will help increase his potential as a future hero. On top of that, Rogers contains inhuman reflexes and can react to quit a handful of things without thinking. He often surprises himself, though teenage standards tend to force him to act 'suave' about it. It's nothing to be fully alarmed about, as it's of the more subtle powers. It saves him from a numerous amount of situations, but certainly not all of them. Sometimes things are too fast or too surprising for Garret to catch, but he has the potential to. That's always there and always will be, it's just a matter of realizing it before it's too late. Other than that, his strength and speed are just enough above average to be considered inhuman for an individual his age. They're near Olympic level, but not quite there. It's right in that sweet spot that it's fairly safe to ignore it for now, until he realizes there's potential behind training both aspects of his body. Mental capacity is not of a genius level, however, he does learn quicker than most individuals. The low dose of serum he was given seems to have opened up pathways in his brain to allow for an exceptional learning capacity for languages, as well as a potential for exceptional computer skills. Other than that, he's a regular teenager and whatever he wishes to learn, then he will. Maybe not to a level of Tony Stark (which will likely never happen), but it's safe to say Mr. Garret Rogers can be quite the smart fellow. Enough to make a difference when it matters.[/sub]

[⟐] Skills of Note:
▣ Expert Marksman
[sub]Any kind of firearm Garret can get a hold of he can pretty much use. Well, maybe not at an expert level for some of them, but when it comes to pistols and sniper rifles, he's among the best. If Garret goes anywhere, it's likely with a concealed pistol somewhere on his person. He's a particularly quick draw and has pinpoint accuracy when it comes to pistols (as well as snipers, but it definitely does not compare to Garett's prowess with a pair of heavy colts in his hands; he's a fan of westerns, though, so revolvers are definitely his favorites. He's still learning how to effectively fan a hammer and keep his accuracy above average. If he ever asks you to hold a number of things and stand still, don't do it... you'll likely end up with a gun shot wound).[/sub]
▣ CQC [Hand-to-Hand Combat]
[sub]Having heavy training in most forms of combat, Garret excels most at grapple take downs. As well, he's a bit of a wildcard when it comes to improvisation in sticky situations. He loves grabbing whatever he can and turning it into a weapon - surprise and unpredictability are definitely a core aspects to Garret's fighting style. Once he's got an opponent reeling, he'll go in for the kill to knock the enemy out cold. There's not a lot to his style other than what he knows in martial arts and his spontaneity. If anything, that's mostly what gives him the upper hand. It likely a crutch that he's trying to get out of, despite the fun of seeing utter shock when a bar of soap is utilized to its utmost efficiency.[/sub]
▣ Martial Arts [Krav Maga, Karate, Taekwondo]
[sub]Most of his childhood could very well be spent taking care of his body, doing what he can to learn anything he could. School didn't mean much to him when he could simply mine a database for any information and knowledge he wanted. Mostly, though, he trained himself physically. With the help of two well trained fathers, that meant learning what he could and mastering some of them didn't seem such a daunting task. It was hard work, yes, but it was well worth it. Thus, Garret is exceptional in the art of Krav Maga and closely approaching in skill with Karate. Taekwondo is the weakest of the three, but out of what he knows, it's still an exceptional skill to use.[/sub]
▣ Foreign Languages
[sub]Lacking much in flashy powers, Garret likes to make up for it in sheer knowledge. Energy projectiles can only do so much in a diplomatic situation, where getting to the objective quickly and cleanly means speaking to the locals in whatever dialect and language is necessary. Garret is extremely fluent in Russian and German (they're second only to English); knows enough a few words in French, Spanish, Romanian, Mandarin, and Japanese to get around; and is quickly learning his way around Tagalog, Afrikaans, Cantonese, and Korean, but can't yet speak them well enough to be confident. He sucks dick at Swedish and please don't ask him to speak Dutch.[/sub]
▣ Hacking
[sub]A very competent hacker, but certainly not the best. Garret can find his way in and out of a number of security systems, as well as regular web pages that circle the internet. It's a great skill to have, but he's still learning most of the basics. If asked to get through a door, sure, but find a vital piece of information in a heavily fortified server past a number of firewalls set up by none other than Tony Fucking Stark. Yeah, might as well ask a baby to assassinate the King of Wakanda. He's still learning, but has vast potential. (he's good at pranking via hacking, though, so need to slander a rival company? just ask garret!)[/sub]
▣ Covert Ops
[sub]Espionage all around. Garret loves using stealth and politics to make his way around an objective. Loves the James Bond feel of donning a disguise, whispering over a concealed earpiece, getting in and getting out without once being seen. Certainly still needs a bit of training to be at an Avenger level, but that's why he's there in the first place, to improve. And improve he's more than willing to do. He's got a solid foundation, a good idea of how to be a good spy or agent, he just needs some experience built onto the inherent skill there.[/sub]

⌘ ⌘ ⌘

⌘ ⌘ ⌘
[⟐] Mental Evaluation:
[sub]After a thorough psychological evaluation of Mr. Rogers ("Please, just Rogers. I don't deserve that title, just yet") it's been determined that he's stable enough. Of course, this kind of issue would no doubt bar him from quite a lot of jobs in the real world; however, when compared to a lot of heroes and even regular S.H.I.E.L.D agents, Rogers seems to have a stronger grip on his mind than most. There are a numerous amount of things that could be treated with proper medication and I've prescribed a number of those medications. However, some things just... it's hard to explain. At first, Rogers reacted to various questions with regular answers. After the first few minutes, it seemed he knew just about every answer that would get him a solid pass on his psyche score. I asked him why he answered if he wasn't answering truthfully - he said I didn't need to know the truth. I didn't - there's a number of reasons why that's absurd. Seems like the subject has a tendency to respond with answers people want to hear. Also has a slight case of paranoia, no doubt due to his chose profession. I shouldn't say chosen - he'd been born and bred for it, literally. Awful things, Hydra. Upon further evaluation, it's been determined that Rogers suffers from what S.H.I.E.L.D likes to call 'controlled amnesia' and it's barred him from remembering everything prior to his time at Stark Tower. At that point, I had been amazed to know Rogers responded and acted like any other human his age. He told me 'Acting,' and winked. I don't think it's that simple. Rogers' mind is wired to work in a way that allows him to blend in perfectly, yes, but it also allows him to learn and adapt within moments. It seems like this branches off to innate learning and it's possible a lot of things have already been learned and the rest is subconscious. Not much is known of his past and not much is divulged, so it's not really something I can just read up on. Upon further evaluation, Rogers seems to suffer from a lack of direction. He seems to follow what's determined to be the best for him, regardless of who orders him. Though, that looks rather tightly ingrained into those he's granted his loyalty to. At the moment, that would be both his fathers, Steve Rogers and James Buchanan Barnes. Regardless, Garret Rogers, the subject, seems perfectly capable of interacting with his peers and able to handle simple conversation easily. He's more than cleared for the Academy - he's not volatile. (as an aside: Garret suffers from manic depression, paranoia, and insomnia, as well as regular night terrors. I've prescribed a number of medication that will hopefully work for him.)[/sub]
[⟐] Physical Evaluation:
[sub]Subject stands at an average male height of 5'10" and weighs in at 177lbs. Blonde hair, blue eyed male; slightly sloe eyed. Eyelids peak near the center of his nose giving him the appearance of perpetual drowsiness. (Colleague called them 'bedroom eyes'; needed a reminder that subject is twenty, an entire decade and a half younger than the good doctor) Like many of his fellow peers, subject Garret Rogers has reached peek physical condition for an individual of his age. Muscles are evenly distributed, though heavier set in his arms and shoulders; torso requires more work for the task he's set to. Cheek bones rest slightly higher on his face with a wider, more impactful look that aid in the slight 'drowsy' complexion he seems to wear. Subject seems to be of Irish-German decent, though more evaluation is needed to determine exact genetics. Mostly, your subject is an average teenager in every aesthetic aspect - the disenchanted looks, the sleep deprivation inherent in the bags of his eyes, the need for contacts due to constant exposure to blue light, and an ever apparent need to maintain some kind of societal standard. Overall, subject remains incredibly healthy with minimal scarring due to scuffles and general teenage hooliganism. Nothing abnormal to note, other than the bad posture (very, very subtle lean to his left side, which he favors most) indicative of scoliosis. Will check regularly on the curvature of his spine to combat any abnormal bends before it happens. Mr. Stark would proudly replace said spine with cybernetics - subject has refused on numerous occasions... as have I. (You often learn the hard way with Mr. Stark and his penchant for fixing everything) I have suggested other methods to which Mr. Stark might be privy to. Here's hoping.[/sub]
[⟐] Biography:
[sub]"He's just a kid," Steve grit through his teeth, jaw clenched as tight as his fists. "Exactly," Coulson said. His voice edged on cool, a facade to mimic the calm he didn't feel. His face resembled stone and his movements just as stiff. Coulson took a round through the chambers before his eyes locked with Steve's. "More impressionable for Hydra. More compliant for them and less work needed for obedience," He paused with his mouth gaping, trying to form around the words Steve could almost hear, "I... wouldn't allow Sergeant Barnes anywhere near until we can consider both a non liability." Once Steve nodded his compliance, Coulson blew out a breath and began work on dismantling the tube holding the subject in stasis. It hissed, brought to life with a series of angry creaks in the piping system above. Steam hissed before the entirety of the tube drained to let the tiny form collapse to the ground in a coughing fit. Both Fitz and Simmons seemed eager to aid, equipment beeping in their hands while Skye came behind just as quick, a towel at the ready. The kid, no more than 14 or, hell even 12, seemed out of it by the time they released him and allowed him to stand, wet and dripping green liquid. He didn't ask questions for hours, didn't eat, didn't sleep. The glaze of slumber still clung tightly to his washed out eyes, sallow face hanging from jutting bones. His shoulders looked sharp, even slouched and curved in on themselves. Everything about him seemed already dead, but more than willing to comply. Bucky Barnes, upon first meeting the subject after evaluations had been made as thoroughly as possible, tore the entirety of the medical bay apart in a fit of rage. The next time (after a month had passed and he'd finally be allowed back in with Steve), the two didn't speak, not once, but continued to stare unphased at each other's faces. Steve had held his breath the entire time, a hand gripping Bucky's shoulder. A bond, unbreakable, had formed between the two, as evident as time passed on. From then on, Sergeant Barnes visited medical with a treat in his pockets and Steve trailing closely behind. The child ate, drank, slept at reasonable times then. Mr. Stark had given him a Stark Pad the second day of his arrival and had since laid untouched for numerous months. Now, though, it never left the child's hands. His first words had been to Steve, croaking even after a few coughs. It'd taken Steve by surprise, brows a hard line and eyes wide and welling. He hadn't realized how much it'd mean to actually mean something to the child. He'd pointed at Steve's shield in the corner and asked, politely, if he could touch and what it was made of and why he had it. Steve staid by his side that entire day, folding in Bucky's arms, telling him everything from the Howling Commandos to Clint's new found love of 'Chocolate Pizzas' and Lucky's dismay at not being able to eat it. Another month passed before the doctors (and Fury) allowed the child out of their bounds. He hadn't a name yet, nor a home, nor any memories of what had happen before. They'd been locked away the moment Coulson could whisk him off to Stark and Wanda. It'd taken an entire day to make sure he remembered nothing of the torture done to him, much less having been born into a world like that. He was a blank slate when they passed him onto medical and he still was. Still just as impressionable and young and naive. And Steve wanted nothing more than to nurture that. He was just lucky Bucky wanted nothing more than to protect it. A name, however, seemed most pertinent. Garret Becket Rogers, in honor of both Peggy Carter and Rebecca Barnes, two women who had meant the world to two dumb Brooklyn boys (both ladies had a hoot finding out; Bucky wouldn't hear the last of it from his sister, who'd forced him down in a chair while she cut his too long hair). He'd learned of the two, as well. You don't get named after someone so obviously important and not look them up. After that, it'd been a mission to aspired to be something like them, something like his fathers, as he'd come to call Steve and Bucky (the first time he'd uttered the word 'Dad' in front of Steve, the man had broken down crying and forgotten entirely what he was mad at Garret for; the first time he called Bucky, 'Father' he'd gotten a swift smack on the back of the head for thinking he was a crybaby like Captain America. Hint: he was. The man didn't come out of his room for an hour just so neither his adopted son nor his boyfriend, to be husband 'cause laws are dumb why can't they just adopt the kid already, would see his puffy eyes). Perhaps that's exactly why both fathers actively denied Garret any chance of becoming an hero. And it's also exactly why he's considered a little shit 'cause he circumvented both individuals just to get Natasha and Clint to help him out (Sam laughed, said something about orange pulp and fried black man before walking away). It wasn't long before Garret realized he'd already had a few languages stored in his head (after talking in Russian extensively with Natasha) and proceeded to learn various martial arts forms quickly. However, what he found he was most exceptional at was shooting. And that's where a bunch of Clint Eastwood (and his sexuality) came into question. The first time Bucky Barnes found a revolver under Garret's pillow, that was the end of it. The second time Bucky Barnes found a revolver under Garret's pillow, they watched The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly on repeat for an entire week. The third time Bucky Barnes found a revolver under his little shit of a son's pillow, he finally offered to help. Much to Steve's chagrin. And it was off to a head start there. Tapping into the inherent ability that Hydra had implemented into their would be second attempt at a super soldier - well, maybe not second; probably like thousandth - Garret had the makings of not only an exceptional S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent, but maybe even a goddamn superhero. Okay, so that was farfetched, but maybe it wasn't. Maybe getting into S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy at the behest of a few of the teachers there (not his parents, haha, they would gut him alive if they found out; to them, he was... uh... just now getting into the college life. They just didn't know which college) meant he was well on his way to becoming an actual, real life superhero. Or maybe James Bond. Either one worked. Of course, his identity would continue to be a secret. No special cookies, if anything the teachers were ten times harder on him just for having the last name Rogers.[/sub]

⌘ ⌘ ⌘

⌘ ⌘ ⌘
[⟐] Likes:
▣ Old Westerns ▣ Revolvers ▣ Golden Retrievers ▣ Being Tactile ▣ Vents
[⟐] Dislikes
▣ Open Spaces ▣ Loudmouths ▣ Loud Noises ▣ Needles ▣ Green Liquids
[⟐] Miscellaneous:
▣ Whistles everywhere he goes.
