Sleipnir just stared innocently right back at Daddy's searching gaze, nothing to hide. He may have only been a week or so old and had yet to master or want to master speech as well as his brother had, but sometimes if one looked hard enough, they could see a glimmer of wisdom and years that only Edge seemed to also have. Just the slightest. And in that moment Sleipnir knew it wasnt right for Father and Daddy to get so tense when their love was in question, even if only playfully. He giggled, pushing the thought aside as Daddy bounced him in the air, tiny wings fluttering excitedly. Squirming and screaming happily when Edge tickled his tummy. Path let the thoughts go too, choosing to focus on Edge's smile...his unheard words...and not the darkness in his violet eyes. Path cherished these, but avoided getting lost in such silly things, locking them away in memory to keep them safe for the time being. He could believe it was true, that nothing really changed at all between them. He smiled, albeit a little sadly as he petted Skylark, "Yes,...I am just fine. Go play with Daddy and your brother." He placed Skylark down on the bed, ruffling his hair for the last time. "Play then sleep, keep Daddy company okay? I'll...just be out for a moment."He murmured softly to Skylark before he stepped out of the room anf vlung on tightly to a nearby chair. His knees buckling and his throat felt dry...but he was fine..wasnt he?
