Li hit the man right on her mark and sent him crumbling to his knees. He groaned in pain and forgot all about those two.

Jett was knocked backwards by the force of his blow. He tripped and almost fell to the ground, but instead bumped into some other dancers, and received some irritated glances as a result. He pinpointed the throbbing pain to his right eye and gently tested it with his hand. [i]Yeah, definitely the eye,[/i] he thought as he winced away from his own touch. [i]At least it's not my nose again,[/i] he thought sourly.
