A logical progression of things. Malkus is tired, hungry, and now rather beat up. He's been in a slump for screwing things up with Sona and is pretty sure he just blew his chances on getting on Kyra's good side and Certainly made an enemy of crazy pants. He is [i]depressed[/i] and just struggles to find a reason to stay alive. Right now he doesn't have a lot of options so he's just given up.

If anyone wants to save him, I will approve and they can do whatever. But if no one cares, well, such is life. I'll be honest, I never like writing these sort of loner characters because being "in-character" means little to no interaction and me being bored. So this is either going to be Malkus' chance to change, or my chance to role up a new character. It's selfish of me I know, but don't save him if it wouldn't make sense to do so.
