Enasi was on a casual stroll, making a few stops before heading to Seishu's room. It was fairly late, and the guardian assumed everyone was asleep. Why wouldn't they be? He decided to check on the other minion patients before his original stop. The doctors would probably be back at work and productive as always. They were all so trustworthy and the very best doctors of the realm. It was probably a good time to compli- The room was empty, save for Crios and Fuan, and of course the sleeping patients. "Has everyone gone to rest already?" By the frown from Crios and Fuan's soft stuttering, he could tell something was wrong... ~~~<>~~~<>~~~~ Iro, Shasta, Tourmali, Haru, and Mado were slowly surrounding the bed, unaware of Rue's whereabouts. There were others, but it would be too obvious if they all went into the room. So the second group waited for a signal from one of the soldiers- if they were needed. Haru and Mado were soldiers of the army, but the other three were top doctors under Crios' leadership. Iro, obviously the leader of this whole endeavor, spoke in a shakily manner, trying to keep his cool. "We are doctors. What would it look like if we went out getting intoxicated while patients desperately needed us?" Although Haru and Mado were in white coats as well, they stayed off to the side near the door. The two didn't need to be in the way while the real doctors gave him "medicine." Shasta and Tourmali stayed silent as they shifted equipment at the ready. In the process of shifting equipment, Iro pulled out a needle of his own from his pocket, and slipped it onto the tray. "I wasn't given word of the sudden schedule change." Tourmali decided to voice his thoughts on the matter as well. "Iro, we were told that it would happen tomorrow." His lie was given a look of fake understanding. "Well Nightmare, you've gotten your days mixed up, that's all. Besides, I'm sure you won't need the treatment tomorrow... This should fix you right up." The sheep doctor spoke a little darkly. The jab at the two soldiers made both of them glower, only feeding the guardian their negative energy. "Ignore those two. They were making sure no one was getting into trouble in their drunken stupors. I asked them to follow so Tourmali could have a decent look at the wounds you caused, after we have helped you of course." Iro spoke through gritted teeth. Being around Seishu made his blood boil. He really despised the Nightmare Guardian and all the things he caused- especially the countless hours of helping poor dreams and minions from their injuries. "A mystery indeed..." He mumbled walking up with the needle. Shasta was the only one who remained quiet during the encounter. She still had mixed feelings about the situation, worried about her safety and theirs. And more importantly, what would Lord Enasi think? She too hated the Nightmare, so his death was not an issue. It was just the outcome of the potential battle. The thought made her shudder, but she stayed silent and moved around when she was told to. Her job consisted of changing the blood packs to the ones normally given to regular patients, of course that was full of positive energies. "Here, let's make this quick... This is one of those human medicines to help you heal faster. Because the faster you heal, the faster you can go home." 'Although you won't be alive when you get there...' Iro didn't feel the need to explain himself considering Seishu wasn't a doctor. He held up the needle that was filled with a light purplish liquid- much different than the clear liquids that the guardian was normally given. That's if Seishu even noticed the shots he was given. Tourmali stood on one side prepared to "help" the guardian, while Iro was on the other, leaning closer, waiting for Seishu to hold out his arm. This could all be over in the matter of seconds if he just complied... The poison would take effect and they'd be rid of the accursed demon. At the door, Haru and Mado's positive energies slowly started increasing to cover Seishu's own negative energy. ~~~<>~~~~<>~~~ Rue watched, wide eyed from where he hid, keeping his energies low as he was told. He stayed quiet, watching the doctors act odd and suspicious. It was like he was holding his breath in anticipation. He really needed to escape the room. Once he could, he could find Enasi and put a stop to whatever they were doing. Whatever they were doing didn't seem very good despite them being doctors... But those two guards were in the way, and they had shut the door... Hopefully someone came to help. He had promised Seishu he wouldn't get involved. ~~~ >< ~~~ >< ~~~ Crios' tail twitched in irritation. "Those fools! Do they not understand how dangerous that is!" His voice was an angry whisper. Fuan's gaze went back to the floor in utter defeat. "I- I'm sorry. But they threatened m- me. I promise I only over heard them... I'm not with them- at all!" Crios sighed and nodded. "I understand, and I thank you for it. At least we have one reliable staff." Upon hearing Lord Enasi, Fuan flinched and then immediately began to tear up. Oh, she really didn't want to get in trouble. "What's wrong?" He looked a little alarmed, but followed Fuan and Crios out into the hall. "Apparently, our professional doctors have decided to treat the nightmare without my consent..." The guardian gave a look of confusion, so Crios carried on. "It's not something either of us want to believe, but it's true. The three- Iro, Tourmali, and Shasta were planning on killing him." "This is bad, this is bad..." Enasi had to do something before something happened to the other patients. "Alright. Crios, you come with me. You'll be needed just in case they've hurt him." Crios nodded, leading the way even. "S-Sir?" Fuan piped up before they left. Enasi turned around and gave a smile. "You've done a lot for the day. Don't worry, they gave empty threats, you'll be fine." Crios added on, "You've done enough work. All of the patients are at a stable level, so you can get some rest." She nodded and walked back into the room, just to double check before she left. The other two were two hallways down from Seishu's spare room. They had to keep the patients separated as much as possible for jut in case purposes. "This is bad..." The guardian mumbled, his worry growing. Those three were doctors, they could easily kill Seishu- thankfully Seishu wasn't dim witted enough to fall for such acts. But then there was Rue. He just hoped by chance the boy got away... And then there was Seishu possibly attacking the doctors. If his negative energy went up too much, he could possibly hurt everyone in the surrounding area. So many risks were going on in that one encounter. Why couldn't they comply to Enasi's word? If any trouble would happen, it would be because of the doctors' idiotic behavior. 'I should have put the barrier up before I left...' He had underestimated the conspiring minions and dreams. Ensy had the guilty feeling of knowing they'd probably try something bad, but he never thought they'd try so soon. In the Nightmare Realm, someone was trying to take Seishu's throne and in the Dream Realm, people were trying to kill Seishu- along with completely ignoring Enasi's orders. What else could possibly go wrong?
